Database schema discovery, comprehension and documentation tool.
SchemaCrawler is an open-source Java API that makes working with database metadata as easy as working with plain old Java objects. SchemaCrawler is also a database schema discovery and comprehension, and schema documentation tool. You can search for database schema objects using regular expressions, and output the schema and data in a readable text format, and find potential design issues with lint . The output is designed to be diff-ed against other database schemas. SchemaCrawler supports almost any database that has a JDBC driver, but for convenience is bundled with drivers for some commonly used RDBMS systems. SchemaCrawler works with any operating system that supports Java.
A model-based test automation framework for GUI applications
This framework supports a wide variety of model-based GUI testing techniques. The innovation lies in the architecture of GUITAR, which uses plug-ins to support flexibility and extensibility. Software developers and quality assurance engineers may use this architecture to create new toolchains, new workflows based on the toolchains, and plug in a variety of measurement tools to conduct GUI testing. More detail is presented in this publication: GUITAR: An Innovative Tool for Automated Testing of GUI-driven Software. Bao N. Nguyen, Bryan Robbins, Ishan Banerjee, and Atif Memon. Automated Software Engineering Journal. p.21, 1. 2014
[SourceForge decided to bundle adware/malware with their downloads. Although they have since reversed that decision, the willingness to do so shows management is ethically compromised, and you should not rely on this software any longer. It only remains up as they do not allow you to delete projects. -- infi_] WAS: "A very easy-to-use, but powerful unit testing suite for Pascal (FreePascal, Turbo Pascal, et al), conforming to the "Test-Anything Protocol" (TAP) specification used by Perl. Text-based, so it should work on any platform with few to no dependencies."

Squash TM is an open source tool for test repositories management.
Squash TM is the test repository manager found in the open source Squash toolkit. It enables the management of requirements, test cases and campaigns execution in a multiproject context. Based on an ergonomic and intuitive interface, Squash is also "full web" making it an easy tool to deploy. Squash TM is the result of a new development in Java (OSGi, Spring 3, Spring MVC, Hibernate, JasperReport, Jquery). For bugs management, Squash TM interfaces natively with Mantis. Thanks to its connector compatible with OSLC, it can also interface with other bugtrackers as JIRA.
Little Software Stats is the first free and open source program that allows software developers to keep track of how their software is being used. It is coded in PHP/MySQL which allows it to run on most web servers.
Null dereference verifier for Java Programs
NPEDetector is a tool for statically detecting the dereferences in Java programs that are safe and those that could potentially result in NullPointerException. Designed to be a sound verifier, NPEDetector guarantees the safety of proven dereferences but could imprecisely flag safe dereferences as faulty. NPEDetector is built using WALA, Watson Libraries For Analysis.
Crow is a ASPICE PAM-compliant requirements management and control tool with a special focus on maintaining the bilateral traceability between artifacts (CRS, TRS, architecture, design, code and tests) and tracing the impact of software change requests.
Automated Fuzztests for JUnit
With inspector, code revision and software inspection will turn into a more easier task, for software development teams.
Modern, customizable ticket-tracker in Java
Eclipse Plug-in for Automatic Refactoring of Fit Tests.
The ReFit Eclipse plugin performs automatic refactoring of the Fit test specs (http://fit.c2.com) and of the relevant code when a refactoring process is invoked. NOTE: The project is still in Beta, but we think stable enough, to be used. Just try. For more information about the project, installation and use instructions see https://sourceforge.net/apps/trac/fitrefactoring/ We are pleased about the many downloads. We are also pleased for your feedback/review - many thanks!
Benchmark code quality and measure Technical Debt of projects in Sonar
Scertify™ Refactoring Assessment is an open source component dedicated to development & QA teams that provides exclusive benchmark data on Software Quality. It automatically detects the portions of an application that can be refactored, gives valuable information on refactoring strategies, and costs. Though IT departments have matured these last 10 years and have now no doubt on the benefits of a continuous control of code quality, three major concerns were still remaining, without any tools able to effectively addressing these needs: * How to understand quality indicators, and how to compare them with the state of the art? * How to measure and manage the gap between the absolute quality level of a software, and a reasonable (reachable) target of quality? * What are the shortest and safe ways to achieve your quality goals?
Test Tool Interfaces is an initiative to standardize the interfaces between Test Tools, making it easier for Test Tools to cooporate. Test Tools can really focus on their intended task and not implement a GUI, an Executor, or a Result Reporter.
Testing Manager is application inteded for managing of entire Testing Agenda: Test Scenarios, Requirements, Mapping, Planning and execution of Tests, Reporting of issues and development feedback about fixing of the issues.
Cutplace validates tabular data (CSV, fixed format) according to an interface control document (ICD). The ICD acts as executable specification and can be described using popular spreadsheet applications (Calc, Excel).
A fluent language to write perftences
Performance test engine written in Java and exposed as a fluent API for writing JUnit tests. Perftence can also be used without JUnit by using perftence-api distribution package. Full test results are provided in html, which can published directly with different CI's (e.g. Jenkins/Hudson). Runtime test statistics are also provided through logging (e.g. using slf4j-log4j and log4j). Pertence tool can also be used for finding out threading issues. Just write a test that uses the component you need to test for threading issues and assign load of threads to the test. Thanks to my employer (Nokia) for letting me publish the initial version of this tool as open-source!
