The free and Open Source productivity suite
Free alternative for Office productivity tools: Apache OpenOffice - formerly known as OpenOffice.org - is an open-source office productivity software suite containing word processor, spreadsheet, presentation, graphics, formula editor, and database management applications. OpenOffice is available in many languages, works on all common computers, stores data in ODF - the international open standard format - and is able to read and write files in other formats, included the format used by the most common office suite packages. OpenOffice is also able to export files in PDF format. OpenOffice has supported extensions, in a similar manner to Mozilla Firefox, making easy to add new functionality to an existing OpenOffice installation.
A Windows password cracker based on rainbow tables
Ophcrack is a Windows password cracker based on a time-memory trade-off using rainbow tables. This is a new variant of Hellman's original trade-off, with better performance. It recovers 99.9% of alphanumeric passwords in seconds.

Fast C++ matrix library with easy to use functions and syntax, deliberately similar to Matlab. Uses template meta-programming techniques. Also provides efficient wrappers for LAPACK, BLAS and ATLAS libraries, including high-performance versions such as OpenBLAS and Intel MKL. Useful for machine learning, pattern recognition, signal processing, bioinformatics, statistics, finance, etc. For more details, see http://arma.sourceforge.net
QPDF is a C++ library and set of programs that inspect and manipulate the structure of PDF files. It can encrypt and linearize files, expose the internals of a PDF file, and do many other operations useful to end users and PDF developers.

Logging Framework for C++
log4cplus is a simple to use C++ logging API providing thread-safe, flexible, and arbitrarily granular control over log management and configuration. It is modelled after the Java log4j API.
High performance, production quality STUN server and client library
New version 1.2. This is the code to STUNTMAN - an open source STUN server and client code by john selbie. Compliant with the latest RFCs including 5389, 5769, and 5780. Also includes backwards compatibility for RFC 3489. ICE and WebRTC ready. Version 1.2 compiles on Linux, MacOS, BSD, and Solaris. Supports the STUN protocol on both UDP and TCP for both IPv4 and IPv6. Windows binaries are also provided. Additional features are in development. This is a mirror of the code on https://github.com/jselbie/stunserver More details on the project's website: http://www.stunprotocol.org
The source code has been migrated and is now hosted on Github: https://github.com/jenetics/jenetics Jenetics is an advanced Genetic Algorithm, Evolutionary Algorithm and Genetic Programming library, respectively, written in modern day Java. It is designed with a clear separation of the several algorithm concepts, e. g. Gene, Chromosome, Genotype, Phenotype, Population and fitness Function. Jenetics allows you to minimize or maximize the given fitness function without tweaking it. In contrast to other GA implementations, the library uses the concept of an evolution stream (EvolutionStream) for executing the evolution steps. Since the EvolutionStream implements the Java Stream interface, it works smoothly with the rest of the Java Stream API. A library which contains several useful utility classes
This project provides a Java library which contains several useful utility classes. This project is a copy of the http://java.net/projects/MDIUtilities on java.net (I own the two projects), because the old java.net hosting infrastructure will soon close. The original project exists since 2006.
Memory Manager: MDX = malloc() + free() + Garbage Collection
MDX is a thread safe memory manager similar to the standard C library's malioc() and free(), except that it allows for some (or all) of the memory to be automatically freed by mark and sweep garbage collection with finalization. It's written in C++ under the Apache license for Windows and Linux on 32 & 64 bit systems. Programs using MDX provide it with a marking callback. The callback performs the marking phase of garbage collection, using MDX's mark() method to actually mark the wanted memory blocks. Finalization is similarly accomplished by callback. The rest of the garbage collection process is managed automatically by MDX. The novel approach of allowing finalization to explicitly free memory offers the potential for improving garbage collection performance. This is achieved by moving some work from being done repetitively during every marking cycle, to being done once only when the memory's freed. See the project web site at the link below for more information.
A C++11 logging library
Chucho is a logging library for C++11. It is modeled on the popular Java library, Logback. It also exposes a C interface, so that C programs can make use of Chucho.
