A free COBOL compiler
GnuCOBOL (formerly OpenCOBOL) is a free COBOL compiler. cobc translates COBOL source to executable using intermediate C, designated C compiler and linker. OpenCOBOL 1.1 became GNU Cobol 1.1 in 2013. GnuCOBOL 2.2 is the latest, version 3.0 is on its way. A programmer's guide, by Gary Cutler and Vincent Coen, is indexed at https://open-cobol.sourceforge.io together with more documentation. OpenCOBOL was written by Keisuke Nishida and Roger While, from 2001 to 2012. GnuCOBOL is also authored by Simon Sobisch, Ron Norman, Edward Hart, Sergey Kashyrin, Dave Pitts and Brian Tiffin. Client for public libraries
VideLibri watches over the books you have lend in public libraries. It will automatically renew the loan period, warn you if some books are due, and keep a history of all lend books. You can also search new books in the catalog and order the found books. It has been tested with over 100 libraries in Germany/Austria/Switzerland, but more importantly, you can add your own libraries using template pattern by inserting annotations on a downloaded library webpage.

C++ header-only library that simulates GLSL math
GLSLmath provides C++ math operations as defined by GLSL. For example, it provides methods to easily setup viewing transformations and perspective projections. GLSLmath has been inspired by the glm and slmath libraries, which aim to mimic GLSL, but in contrast to those GLSLmath does not focus on a complete conforming implementation of GLSL. It rather aims to provide a convenient single header file that implements the most commonly used subset of GLSL so that it is easy to use for rapid prototyping and GLSL teaching purposes. It is used at the Georg-Simon Ohm University of Applied Sciences in Nuremberg for teaching computer graphics courses.
Orx: Portable Game Engine
Orx is a portable, lightweight, plugin-based, data-driven and extremely easy to use 2D-oriented game engine. As orx is data driven, it allows users to create games with a small number of lines of code and reduces drastically the development time.

object orientated scripting language
ObjectiveScript is an object orientated scripting language that tries to combine the speed of scripting with an object orientated syntax similar to Java and C++. The language offers native data types like bool, double, float, int and string as well as user defined object types and a system library with data types similar to the Java boxed types like Integer and String. Collections like List, Map, etc. can be used with object and value types and can also be used as raw types (i.e. List == List<Object>).
Middleware for distributed applications
The purpose of the project is to develop a portable programming framework that facilitates distributed and multi-threaded programming for C++, Java, and Python. MADARA was originally developed as an agent-based middleware specifically for real-time, distributed artificial intelligence, but is now more general purpose for distributed timing, control, knowledge and reasoning, and quality-of-service. MADARA is composed of several tools and middleware, and the main entry point into the system is the Knowledge and Reasoning Language (KaRL) Engine, which provides a real-time scripting language for nanosecond execution times hooked into a flexible transport layer for distributed reasoning. The KaRL engine also supports object-oriented C++, Java, and Python programming through Containers, classes that provide abstractions and references for variable location within the KaRL Knowledge Base. This project is currently in process of being ported from http://madara.googlecode.com.
A new system programming language designed to occupy the same niche C is currently holding, that allows for easier development of large platform-independent systems.
Extended C Library
Why Is libxc needed? There doesn't exist a library for ANSI C99 for common data containers, such as vectors, trees, etc. There also also doesn't exist a library for common functionality, such as error reporting/logging, string functions, configuration management (reading config files), etc... The programmer working in C doesn't have anything analogous to the Boost C++ library. The extended C library is intended to make some headway into providing this functionality. To ensure unrestricted usage the libxc project is provided under the very permissive BSD license. A set of command line tools for graphics conversion, system administration, software development and web development. Bmpp converts from PNG/JPEG/TIFF to PS/EPS/PDF. Fig2lat converts from Fig to PGF/PDF+TeX/EPS+TeX. Dkct is a preprocessor for C, C++, Objective-C and Java for tracing and debugging. Htmlbook publishes HTML pages like a book. Itadmin creates configuration files and network documentation from a MySQL database. Dk-ls lists files, output column order is configurable. Dk-fic checks file integrity. Dk-bmm manages backup media. Dk-blks prepares a stream of fixed size blocks. Dk-eradisk generates a data stream to erase a disk. Dk-cat shows file contents and allows some recoding. Dk-sort sorts text line by line. Dk-t2h converts text to HTML. Dk-t2l converts text to LaTeX. Dk-pwgen generates passwords, PINs or hexadecimal keys. Dk-send sends a data stream to one or multiple recipients running the dk-recv program. Winprint schedules a file to a Windows print queue.
Pascal Units for Medical Applications
The PUMA Repository is a collection of Pascal units for medical informatics. It contains reusable source code for a wide field of health-care application development. The code includes converting functions for measurement units and an HL7 engine. PUMA is compatible with Lazarus and Free Pascal. Some of the units also support other Pascal implementations including Delphi, winsoft Pocket Studio and other compilers.
C-level driver collection for MSP430 and derivatives
ocapi is an open source driver collection for MSP430 and derivative processors. It provides a C language application programming interface (API) for deploying individual processor capabilities. Current modules support serial communication via UART, I2C and SPI, digital I/O (GPIO), analog-to-digital conversion (ADC), Timers and so on. ocapi aims at being independent of the development host platform. So it should work, no matter if you live in the Windows, Linux or Mac world. ocapi is used as the hardware abstraction layer for the MSP430 port of the Takatuka Java virtual machine (JVM). Before it can be used, the library must be built from the sources provided here. The build environment allows for fine grained configuration of the library's functionality and target system.

Grassroots DiCoM is a C++ library for DICOM medical files. It is accessible from Python, C#, Java and PHP. It supports RAW, JPEG, JPEG 2000, JPEG-LS, RLE and deflated transfer syntax. It comes with a super fast scanner implementation to quickly scan hundreds of DICOM files. It supports SCU network operations (C-ECHO, C-FIND, C-STORE, C-MOVE).
