oTranCe offers a ready to go and entirely web based translation platform to your project and your translators. The files you already translated can be imported easily and the present stage can be exported to language packages at any time. In case you are using a versioning system, updating your repository is just a mouse click. All your translators will need is just a log in so they can start with working on the translations straight away. The administrator will be able to adjust very fine-grained rights and roles for your developers and interpreters.

Tolgee is not just another localization platform offering integrations that only syncs local data with the backend. Instead, Tolgee is truly integrated into your app via SDKs. It consists of Tolgee Platform and integration libraries (SDKs). The platform is where the strings are stored, and users can manage them all in one place. phpMyEdit development was stopped several years ago at version 5.7.1, with no support for newer MySQL or MariaDB, no support for newer PHP, and a lot of open TODOs. This kind of software still has a lot of use today but it needed an update to support the current technologies. As the original repository is frozen, new works have started in this repository. Version 5.7.2 supports PHP 7.x., uses mysqli_ and is for the rest very close to 5.7.1. Version 5.7.3 is a bugfix release with a lot of warnings removed. Version 5.7.4 (now 5.7.4.1) supports PHP 8.x and has some feature changes. It is in much better shape and a good starting point for upcoming releases. See the documentation for more details. Version 5.7.5 has a lot of improvements. Why a rename? Because phpMyEdit exists on SF, and multiple versions of the same project exist on github. This is a new departure for a sleeping project.
