The Object-Role Modeling (ORM) standard version 2, associated schemas and generation tools, and a reference implementation in the form of the Natural Object-Role Modeling Architect for Visual Studio (NORMA) product.
Tool support for creating FMC* diagrams [Block diagrams, Petri nets, Entity-Relationship diagrams (ERD)] in MS-Visio 2000 and newer. Features: stencils, consistency checking, Petri net simulation, exporter e.g. pdf, ... *Fundamental Modeling Concepts A stripped down version of the stencil set is available for TAM (Technical Architecture Modeling of SAP). This set uses UML notation and contains Block, Activity, Sequence, State, Class, and Component diagrams. It doesn't contain Simulation, exporter, or even shape help.
** ATTENTION ** THIS PROJECT HAS MOVED TO: https://github.com/pgmodeler/pgmodeler New releases only will be available on GitHub. PostgreSQL Database Modeler, or simply pgModeler is an open source project of a CASE tool for modeling PostgreSQL that merges the classical concepts of modeling using entity-relationship diagrams with specific features that only PostgreSQL implements. The pgModeler translates the models created by the user to SQL code and apply them onto database clusters from version 8.0 to 9.1. Please, let me know how the pgModeler is working on your computer! Help to improve this project, give your feedback about the software or report any bug at "Tickets" page. Do not forget to detail the bug and if possible attach a screenshot or model database which expressed the bug. Follow the pgModeler profile on Facebook/Twitter and be up-to-date with new features, fixes and releases. https://www.facebook.com/pgmodeler https://twitter.com/pgmodeler
The bflow* Toolbox is an open source tool kit for business process management. The objective of bflow* is to explore new ways and scenarios for the development and use of modelling tools.
This project develops a full-functional UML-Roundtrip-Tool for Python. It is realized as an Eclipse Plugin based on the plugins PyDev und Eclipse Uml2Tools. * Full Roundtrip Functionality * Uml2Tools Model Editor included * Live Validation * UML Views
Head First Design Patterns translated to C++. Three separate translations are planned: 'Bronze' is literal; minimal (syntax) changes only. 'Silver' is semantic; more C++ idioms + leftover patterns. 'Gold' is (forthcoming and) modern; template based
ECLiPSe Constraint Logic Programming System
The ECLiPSe Constraint Logic Programming System is designed for solving combinatorial optimization problems, for the development of new constraint solver technology and their hybrids, and for the teaching of modelling, solving and search techniques.
The Adobe Source Libraries (ASL) are a collection of C++ libraries building foundation technology to allow the construction of commercial applications by assembling generic algorithms through declarative descriptions.
Free software for generating understandable and accurate fuzzy systems
GUAJE stands for Generating Understandable and Accurate fuzzy models in a Java Environment. Thus, it is a free software tool (licensed under GPL-v3) with the aim of supporting the design of interpretable and accurate fuzzy systems by means of combining several preexisting open source tools, taking profit from the main advantages of all of them. It is a user-friendly portable tool designed and developed in order to make easier knowledge extraction and representation for fuzzy systems, paying special attention to interpretability issues. GUAJE lets the user define expert variables and rules, but also provide supervised and fully automatic learning capabilities. Both types of knowledge, expert and induced, are integrated under the expert supervision, ensuring interpretability, simplicity and consistency of the knowledge base along the whole process. Notice that, GUAJE is is an upgraded version of the free software called KBCT (Knowledge Base Configuration Tool).
Object-oriented equation-based modelling and optimisation software
DAE Tools is a cross-platform equation-based object-oriented modelling, simulation and optimisation software. It is not a modelling language nor a collection of numerical libraries but rather a higher level structure – an architectural design of interdependent software components providing an API for: - Model development/specification - Activities on developed models, such as simulation, optimisation, sensitivity analysis and parameter estimation - Processing of the results, such as plotting and exporting to various file formats - Report generation - Code generation, co-simulation and model exchange The following class of problems can be solved by DAE Tools: - Initial value problems of implicit form - Index-1 DAE systems - With lumped or distributed parameters - Steady-state or dynamic - Continuous with some elements of event-driven systems
An optimized C library for numerically solving exterior ballistics problems. It supports standard drag models (Drag Functions G1-G8). The solution method is the common "3 degree of freedom" analysis found in many commercial programs.
TRANSIMS is an integrated system of travel forecasting tools for modeling regional transport systems. For more information, visit http://code.google.com/p/transims/
PlantUml Dependency allows to parse / reverse engineering source files (only Java is supported by now) to generate a PlantUml description, allowing to draw the UML class diagram associated to the source code.
Make a tag cloud from text in your files
The Tag Cloud Maker application allows the specification of a source folder containing files that are parsed and the words counted and displayed in an HTML word tag cloud.
This project will allow a .NET(C#) developer to have a component that will interact with OpenXml file. For example *.docx file with are used by Office 2007. So that these files can be changed easily within code.
This project provides a set of Python tools for creating various kinds of neural networks, which can also be powered by genetic algorithms using grammatical evolution. MLP, backpropagation, recurrent, sparse, and skip-layer networks are supported.
An Eclipse plugin for generating code out of an Entity-Relationship-Diagram (ERD). Currently SQL-DDL and POJO classes with EJB3.0 Annotations are supported. The diagrams conform to the diagram description by H. Buff (german book, ISBN 3-03-440201-5)
A complete, fast, previously commercial, JDO 1.0.1 implementation for databases, opened by Versant in 2005 and then abandoned in early 2006. The design-time code is already in Eclipse Dali. This project is the original source drop, including the runtime.
Domain-Driven Design sample application implementation
Pretty Damn Quick (PDQ) analytically solves queueing network models of computer and manufacturing systems, data networks, etc., written in conventional programming languages. Generic or customized reports of predicted performance measures are output.
A multi-notational modeling toolkit that supports the NFR framework, the i* Framework, KAOS, and the Problem Frames notations. For more information, visit http://www.utdallas.edu/~supakkul/tools/RE-Tools.
Fortran library with the Abaqus user material subroutines UMAT/VUMAT
This library contains several of user material subroutines for implicit quasi-static (UMAT) and explicit dynamic (VUMAT) versions of the Abaqus solver. The Abaqus is a proprietary finite element (FE) code ( http://www.3ds.com/products-services/simulia/products/abaqus/). Users can write subroutines for use with the Abaqus. Linear elastic, isotropic hardening plasticity, Gurson-Tvergaard-Needleman (GTN), Rousselier constitutive models are provided. Quote this code as: A. Shterenlikht, N. A.
