A fat-free DIY Python plugin management toolkit.
A simple framework for plugin system development with as few dependencies as possible. It is designed to offer a set of very lean classes (plugin managers and plugin interfaces) which can easily be customised by decoration or inheritance. Yapsy supports Python2 and Python3. Its source package contains versions of the sources for both pythons. Usage samples, advices and developer's documentations are available on the main website.
dbo is a database object relational mapper (ORM) written entirely in Python. Tables are represented using a straightforward python class and row instances are encapsulated as python instances. Joins, views, transactions, and more.
Pycap provides the ability to capture packets from, and inject packets onto, network interfaces. It dissects commonly found structures in network packets such as Ethernet, IP, ARP, TCP, UDP, and ICMP headers.

An Efficient Binary data Format
EBF, which stands for Efficient Binary Format, is a binary file format for reading and writing binary data easily. Reading writing routines are currently available in C,C++,Fortran,Java, Python, IDL, MATLAB. A program called ebftkpy which has a set of utility functions to work with the .ebf files , e.g., viewing the contents and getting a summary, is also provided. The EBF specification is designed to be concise and easy to understand to make it easier for others to write their own code if needed. It is also designed to simplify the programming of input output routines in different programming languages. In a nutshell an EBF file is a collection of data objects. Each data object is specified by a unique name and a single file can have multiple data objects. Each data object is preceded by a meta-data or header which describes the binary data associated with it. Among other things, this header allows the files to be portable across systems with different endianess.

Grapcha - Captcha with Graphviz. Why are the captchas always small? This one is bigger, and hopefully easy to read.
Light-weight C++ library for embedding Python into C++
ECS:Python (Embedded C++ Scripting with Python) is a simple Python wrapper library designed specifically for C++ developers who wish to add Python scripting to their new / existing C++ projects. ECS:Python allows you to expose objects from a C++ application to an embedded Python interpreter for interactive scripting. ECS:Python is light-weight and easy to use. To get started all you need to do from your project is #include "EcsPython.h", and link to the EcsPython library. Included with ECS:Python is a demo project (/example) written to assist developers in understanding how to use the API. ECS:Python requires a Python distribution to be installed on your system. Python can be downloaded from: www.python.org/download What's new in v2.8: * Basic support for constructing C++ objects from Python * __call__() returns a pointer to the C++ object * Added support for void* arguments * Fixed floating point argument bug * Fixed char* return value bug
An easy way to manage SQLite databases and query CSV files
Welcome to the project page for DaSPyMan (Data and SQL Python Manager). This application is a Python Tkinter application designed to enable easy SQLite database file manipulation, and an easy method to run SQL styled queries on CSV files. To run this you will need Python 2.6 or later, but preferably Python 3.0 or above as this is the environment it was made in. Python is a free code interpretter much like Java in how it operates. You can download it from http://www.python.org/ . SQLite is a free database format released into the public domain. See http://www.sqlite.org/ Please check out the Wiki Home page (https://sourceforge.net/p/pycsvdb/wiki/Home/) and the General Help page (https://sourceforge.net/p/pycsvdb/wiki/General%20Help/) to find extra information and help. In downloading the .exe file there's a chance you may have install the Microsoft C++ runtime redistributable library. See https://www.microsoft.com/en-au/download/details.aspx?id=48145 for information on that.
Middleware for distributed applications
The purpose of the project is to develop a portable programming framework that facilitates distributed and multi-threaded programming for C++, Java, and Python. MADARA was originally developed as an agent-based middleware specifically for real-time, distributed artificial intelligence, but is now more general purpose for distributed timing, control, knowledge and reasoning, and quality-of-service. MADARA is composed of several tools and middleware, and the main entry point into the system is the Knowledge and Reasoning Language (KaRL) Engine, which provides a real-time scripting language for nanosecond execution times hooked into a flexible transport layer for distributed reasoning. The KaRL engine also supports object-oriented C++, Java, and Python programming through Containers, classes that provide abstractions and references for variable location within the KaRL Knowledge Base. This project is currently in process of being ported from http://madara.googlecode.com.
Rapid web development tool for business applications
You assemble *blocks* in your django template, with each block wired to a tastypie resource, which in turn is mapped to a django model. Each *block* will reside in a dijit ContentPane which you must define in your template. You have a choice of 2 layouts for each *block*, Form or Grid based. Form displays a single record in either a 1, 2 or 3 column layout while Grid displays many rows in a spreadsheet like grid. You can perform edits in place on fields in both layouts. You can define the master-detail relationship between the *blocks* and enblok will automatically display the related detail *block* rows as the user navigates the master *block*'s rows. You get for free the default *CRUD* functionality for each block, together with Search. You are not limited to just a 2 level master-detail relationship, in fact enblok can support n-th level relationships but we do not advise you to go beyond 3. Read the distribution's enblok/readme.txt for further instructions.
