The Grinder is a load testing framework that makes it easy to run a distributed test using many load injector machines. Test scripts are written in Jython, and can call out to arbitrary Java code, providing support for testing a large range of network protocols. The Grinder comes with a mature plug-in for testing HTTP services, HTTP scripts can be recorded easily from a browser session.

CSV Comparator is a tool for comparing files which contain CSV-Data. It was created for performance engineers to be able to have a easy way to compare data from two testruns and be able to automate the comparing process of various files with scripts. There is a command line tool as well as a user interface. In case you need to compare .xml-Files you can convert them to .csv-Files with my other project CSV Transformer. The advantages by using CSV as input and output are the following: - Many applications allow an export of its data to CSV or Excel(were it could be saved to CSV) - It is possible to pre- and postprocess the data, e.g removing version numbers before comparing - It is easy to create CSV data from logfiles and other resources by using unix tools like sed or awk - CSV can be loaded into other applications, especially Excel, were it can be formatted by macros for analyzing.

Marathon runs GUI Testing against Java/Swing and Java/FX applications. Marathon provides an integrated environment for test script creation and execution. Currently, Marathon supports JRuby script models for recording the test scripts.Marathon test runner generates Allure test reports.Marathon allows for grouping of test cases.It also has an option of inserting modules while recording(in MarathonITE while recording). It allows tester to inset checklist while recording and also takes screen capture and annotate it in playing the test cases. Extraction of code into modules and inserting it is very easy using marathon.It has different themes of UI which attracts tester to do work on it. Object mapping is quite simple and configuring is very easy for tester to understand and do the work. Debugging of test scripts is also easy and has script console which takes selenium commands. Slow play of test cases is also available.It allows to create multiple fixtures for different types of tests.
Generate charts and reports using data gathered in log files
An application to gather, aggregate, chart and report information originating from any log files. It uses regular expressions that are constructed graphically and can be tested in the application against samples. Once configured for a specific type of log file set, the gathering and display of the chart for a new files set can be done in just one click. Proxy Tester is a proxy list tester and then it generates a wpad.dat file you can use for your browser based on working servers. wpad.dat file selects a random proxy server from the list of provided working proxy servers with each connection request.

Library tools to collect timing in Java, C, C++
A collection of library code and tools for application execution profiling and performance testing. You can create stopwatches to time select portions of your code. You can measure differences (often to sub-millisecond accuracy) between clocks on different machines. You can log application events in a .csv format for subsequent analysis. You can also generate CPU loading logs in a .csv format.

Database Benchmark is one of the most powerfull open source tools designed to stress test database management systems with large data flows. The application performs two main test scenarios: - Insertion of large amount of randomly generated records with sequential or random keys; - Read of the inserted records, ordered by their keys. Database Benchmark can be used as an additional viewpoint when the research engineers or software architects asses the appropriate background storage engine for their mission critical systems. The application contains useful tools that make it easy to test and evaluate the different solutions.

Stochastic Performance Logic testing tools and utilities.
Stochastic Performance Logic (SPL) serves for capturing performance assumptions. With SPL, it is possible to annotate Java functions with assumptions stating, for example, that the annotated function is at most three times slower than array copying. The assumption is then checked at build time in a similar way as standard unit testing. In other words, SPL is about introducing performance assert(). The advantage of SPL in comparison with other similar solutions includes following. SPL formulas uses well-defined logic and statistically sound testing (such as t-test). Next, SPL is aimed at automatic evaluation. And finally, SPL formulas uses relative comparisons (opposed to comparing against fixed time) to provide better portability.

In order to assure software performance, software needs to be tested accordingly as early as possible - only weaknesses diagnosed early can be assessed quickly and cheaply. ContiPerf enables performance testing already in early development phases and in an easy-to-learn manner: A developer writes a performance test in form of a JUnit 4 test case and adds performance test execution settings as well as performance requirements in form of Java annotations. When JUnit is invoked by an IDE, build script or build server, ContiPerf activates, performs the tests and creates an HTML report. The report provides a detailed overview of execution, requirements and measurements, even providing a latency distribution chart. A large feature set for execution settings and performance requirements is available, e.g. Ramp up, warm up, individual pause timing, concurrent exection of test groups and more.

Library of Approximate Adders
We provide MATLAB and Verilog Models of GeAr, and previously proposed adders (ACA-I, ETAII, ACA-II and GDA) at http://sourceforge.net/projects/approxadderlib/ GeAr is a low latency Generic Accuracy Configurable Adder that provides a higher number of potential configurations compared to state-of-the-art approximate adders, thus enabling a high degree of flexibility and trade-off between performance and output quality. These MATALB and Verilog models can allow software programmer as well as hardware designers to evaluate their code and design. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first open-source library of approximate adders that facilitates reproducible comparisons and further research and development in this direction across various layers of design abstraction. This work is a result of collaborative effort between Chair for Embedded Systems (CES) at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), Germany and Vision Image and Signal Processing (VISpro) Lab at SEECS-NUST, Pakistan.

Test suite with unit regrssion and execution statistics
RegressionSuite is a software test suite that incorporates measurement of the startup lag, measurement of accurate execution times, generating execution statistics, customized input distributions, and processable regression specific details as part of the regular unit tests. Essentially, RegressionSuite provides the frame-work around which the individual unit regressors are invoked (and details and statistics collected). Unit regressors are grouped into named regressor sets (or modules), and regressors are created by implementing specific regressor interfaces. These two features make regressors particularly amenable to testing analytics (and other similarly state-light) modules.
