The goal for this project is to provide translators to allow for interoperability between applications based on ODF (OpenDocument) 1.1 standards and ECMA Office OpenXML based Office applications.
The National Library of New Zealand's Metadata Extraction Tool automatically extracts preservation-related metadata from digital files, then output that metadata in XML formats. It can be used through a graphical user interface or command-line interface. Please take the latest code from 'https://github.com/DIA-NZ/Metadata-Extraction-Tool.git'. The code on source forge will not be updated henceforth as it is moved to github.

DocBook Publishing Made Easy with a Single Command

The DocBook Authoring and Publishing Suite (DAPS) is providing a tool set for easy creation and publication of DocBook sources on Linux. DAPS lets you create HTML (incl. webhelp), PDF, EPUB, man pages, and other formats with a single command. It automatically takes care of validating and filtering (profiling) your sources and automatically converts images into a format best suited for the output format. Furthermore one can easily create profiled source tarballs for translation or review. DAPS supports authors by providing linkchecker, validator, spellchecker, and editor macros. It is perfectly suited to manage large documentation projects with multiple authors using the DAPS docmanager.

Parse and decode METAR, TAF, SYNOP, BUOY, AMDAR and write data as XML
metaf2xml can download, parse and decode aviation routine weather reports (METAR, SPECI, SAO), aerodrome forecasts (TAF), synoptic observations (SYNOP), observations from buoys (BUOY) and meteorological reports from aircrafts (AMDAR). Data can also be taken from decoded BUFR messages. The extracted data can be written as XML or passed to a user-defined function (all done in Perl). It also provides XSLT style sheets to convert the XML to plain language (text, HTML), or XML with different schemas. A web-based (CGI) user interface can be used to download and display up-to-date weather data from NOAA, Ogimet, and other sources.

Java based XSLT Processor extension for syntax highlighting
This is an implementation of syntax highlighting as an extension module for XSLT processors (Xalan, Saxon), so if you have e.g. article about programming written in DocBook, code examples can be automatically syntax highlighted during the XSLT processing phase.
