SDCC is a retargettable, optimizing standard C (ANSI C89, ISO C99, ISO C11) compiler that targets a growing list of processors including the Intel 8051, Maxim 80DS390, Zilog Z80, Z180, Rabbit 2000, gbz80, Motorola 68HC08, S08 and STMicroelectronics STM8 targets. There also is incomplete support for the Microchip PIC16 and PIC18.

HTML and HTTP as single executable file
The idea of the project came from my embedded projects. Almost every embedded device requires that or another management interface. In 99% in all devices runs a http server which hosts mini-site integrated with the system through cgi. My idea is creating an HTML compiler. An HTML code with embedded into it C code compiled, and the final product it is just executable file with incorporites HTML code, all images, and HTTP server. The CGI level disappears in such a scheme, the embedded C code just executed when the page generated by server.
Proyect aim is to develop a library which allow the management of very large dictionaries very efficiently using, for this purpose, numbered deterministic acyclic finite automata.

An compiled object oriented language which uses the C ABI
Sockeye is a language similar to Java, but with some pythonic sugar, which at least for the initial version will convert to C code prior to further compilation. Currently the parser only builds an AST and is on hold, and currently the std lib is what is under development. This is pre-alpha since it's primarily a library and a bunch of unit tests. In the near future it could at least be used as a C library for folks who wanted to do operations on Strings, RegExps, Lists, and HashTables which are simple in python. When I get back to the compiler generating code I'll handle generics so Lists don't just contain void *s.

Vicare Scheme is an R6RS compliant fork of Ikarus Scheme, aiming to become a native compiler for R6 Scheme producing single threaded programs running on Intel x86 32-bit and 64-bit processors; it is tested only on GNU+Linux, no official support for other platforms is present. Vicare offers arbitrary precision integers through GMP. It implements an optionally included foreign-functions interface based on Libffi. Ikarus Scheme is an almost R6RS compliant implementation of the Scheme programming language; it is the creation of Abdulaziz Ghuloum, which retired from development in 2010.
