A free COBOL compiler
GnuCOBOL (formerly OpenCOBOL) is a free COBOL compiler. cobc translates COBOL source to executable using intermediate C, designated C compiler and linker. OpenCOBOL 1.1 became GNU Cobol 1.1 in 2013. Official releases at ftp://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/gnucobol GnuCOBOL 2.2 is the last release, version 3.0 is on its way. A programmer's guide, by Gary Cutler, and other documentation, is indexed at http://open-cobol.sourceforge.net/ OpenCOBOL was written by Keisuke Nishida and Roger While, from 2001 to 2012. GnuCOBOL is also authored by Simon Sobisch, Ron Norman, Edward Hart, Sergey Kashyrin, Dave Pitts and Brian Tiffin. Others listed in the AUTHORS and THANKS files. Great Cow BASIC is an open-source BASIC compiler for 8 bit Microchip PIC and Atmel AVR microcontrollers. Also included in the project is Great Cow Graphical BASIC, an icon based editor for GCBASIC programs. The latest release is September 2017. We are even closer to v1.00 release!! Please see the download section for your options. We have a Graphical IDE and textual IDE, we have just the compiler and we have a minimal install - it is your choice. Please see the homepage here: http://gcbasic.sourceforge.net and also see http://gcbasic.sourceforge.net/download.html for other Great Cow Basic download options.

ALFOUR Programming language. Simple, safe, power, multi-platform.
A programming language AL-IV (ALFOUR) is a high-level imperative object oriented programming language with minimal introduction level, easy porting to any platform claiming a very high level of safety and stability, with a controllable level of code protection, high efficiency of an executable code, full independence from a target platform, minimal enter level.
Brook is an ANSI C like general purpose stream programming language and is designed to incorporate the ideas of data parallel computing and arithmetic intensity into a familiar, efficient language. Has OpenMP CPU, OpenGL, DirectX 9 and AMD CTM backends.
mingw-w64 gcc compiler
Bundled gcc compiler and tools for Perl on MS Windows (32 and 64 bit). Provides C, C++, Fortran
Translate java source into another language
JavacTo is a prototype tool designed to evaluate the need and value of translating java code into another programming language. An ideal language for translation is a language that supports the concept of packages, classes, interfaces, and enums as well as built-in memory garbage collection. Languages such as C# and D, are well suited as a translation “To” language. Eclipse project provided to get started. Three visitor classes provided to learn how to use JavacTo and write visitor classes. Vistor javadocs available at: http://docs.oracle.com/javase/8/docs/jdk/api/javac/tree/index.html
FOML is an expressive logic rule language that supports object modeling, analysis, and inference. It naturally supports model-level activities, such as constraints (extending UML diagrams), dynamic compositional modeling, analysis and reasoning about models, model testing, design pattern modeling, specification of Domain Specific Modeling Languages, and meta-modeling. FOML can reason about: 1. The model meta-data (meta-model level reasoning, or syntax reasoning) 2. Data level: reason about a model and its data (instance model, i.e., diagram) FOML is built as a semantic layer on top of PathLP - a compact logic rule language of guarded path expressions, an adaptation of a subset of F-logic.
XPL to C translator
XPL compiler as described in the book "A Compiler Generator" by McKeeman, Horning and Wortman. This compiler translates the XPL language to C source code allowing anyone with a working C compiler to run an XPL compiler.
A lexical analyzer generator that makes the class source code.
ULS is a class library for creating lexical analyzer from language specification file. It's provided as C/C++/C# and Java (class) libraries with a few of tools on Linux/Windows platform.
An efficient shader compiler, a simple and practical solution for managing shader files in 3d engine projects. Editing fx files is just as easy as editing c files with its help. It provides a lot more than fxc.exe. (key words: HLSL,GLSL,DirectX,CG)
Object-oriented scripting engine for Delphi
Sepi is an object-oriented scripting engine for Delphi. It allows the users of your application to customize it using powerful object-oriented scripting. Sepi can even create classes, and work with different languages (e.g. domain-specific).
BESEN is an acronym for "Bero's EcmaScript Engine", and it is a complete ECMAScript Fifth Edition Implemention in Object Pascal, which is compilable with Delphi >=7 and FreePascal >= 2.5.1 (2.4.0 only inoffically). Moved to Google Code http://code.google.com/p/besen/
Distributed C/C++ compiler for Visual C++
Embeddedable Forth compiler is a Forth system for 32 bit devices with no OS. I am currently using it with ADUC7026 board. Also tested on STM32. Win32 version is is used for testing.
Graal collects profiling information when interpreting Java Bytecode. This tool gives the user the ability to inspect these Graal internal datastructures easily. Installation instructions are provided in the wiki.
the industry's leading Oberon-2 to C translator
Ofront+ is a tool that translates Oberon-2 programs into semantically equivalent C programs. Full error analysis is performed on the Oberon input program and in case of no errors up to three files are generated as output. Ofront+ does not invoke the C compiler or linkage editor. This may be done in separate shell scripts or make files and is inherently dependent on the C compiler and linkage editor being used. Although normally not read by the user, the C code generated by Ofront+ is kept as readable as possible, nicely formatted, should not produce any C compiler error messages or warnings and is tuned for efficient execution. In fact, an Oberon program translated by Ofront+ can be expected to execute as fast and read as well as an equivalent hand-coded C program. Ofront+ is based on Ofront by Software Templ OEG. Here are two versions: 1. Ofront+ for Windows & Linux command line 2. Ofront+ for BlackBox Component Builder (runs as a subsystem)
On-the-Fly .NET Compiler - tool or library for compilation CLR language in real time, also in memory, and following execution. This can be used for desktop and web scripting, remote compilation, etc. It's free, written on C# and multiplatform.
VCLX: Visual C/C++ Legacy eXtender
VCLX allows you to retain compatibility with legacy OS's (like Microsoft "Windows 9X/NT/2000/XP") in C/C++ projects (with or without MFC) built with a modern Microsoft "C/C++ compiler" (like "VC" from Microsoft "Visual Studio 2012"). VCLX was designed for existing projects that already run fine on the desired legacy OS's when built with older versions of Microsoft "C/C++ compiler", but which fail to run when built with a modern Microsoft "C/C++ compiler". VCLX is compatible and supports the following versions of Microsoft "Visual Studio" ("C/C++ projects" only): • Visual Studio 2005 • Visual Studio 2008 • Visual Studio 2010 • Visual Studio 2012
