Translate files between XLS / XLSX and XML format . . .
XLStoXML is a portable cross-platform desktop application for file format translation between XLS/XLSX and XML. No installation required except Java. The simple and intuitive interface allows you to do complex operations with just a few clicks. We are currently offering only a free version of this software, this means that all the features are available for you! The downloads and old versions code are distributed in SourceForge, and will be available soon. This piece of software is more than a simple converter. XLStoXML allows you to configure the translation in a wide range of combinations to reach out your requirements. Convert one or a bunch of files in short time. What else? Track your conversions in the console tab, see the errors or the success of each of the excel files. If you get stuck or you need support, we give you help in numerous ways: http://xlstoxml.sourceforge.net/#Support.
Generator of lexical analyzers in C and C++. Unicode Supported.
The goal of this project is to provide a generator for lexical analyzers of maximum computational efficiency and maximum range of applications. This includes the support for Unicode (UTF8, UTF16, ...) and other codecs directly and via nested converters such as ICU(tm) and IConv. Sophisticated buffer handling allows to operate on plain file streams, on sockets, or manually fed buffer content.

"Aubit 4GL" is a project to make GPL, OpenSource, Informix-4GL compatible compiler, and continue to extend functionality needed to write most efficient and productive business related, database oriented applications. See "Home Page" link for more.
** ATTENTION ** THIS PROJECT HAS MOVED TO: https://github.com/pgmodeler/pgmodeler New releases only will be available on GitHub. PostgreSQL Database Modeler, or simply pgModeler is an open source project of a CASE tool for modeling PostgreSQL that merges the classical concepts of modeling using entity-relationship diagrams with specific features that only PostgreSQL implements. The pgModeler translates the models created by the user to SQL code and apply them onto database clusters from version 8.0 to 9.1. Please, let me know how the pgModeler is working on your computer! Help to improve this project, give your feedback about the software or report any bug at "Tickets" page. Do not forget to detail the bug and if possible attach a screenshot or model database which expressed the bug. Follow the pgModeler profile on Facebook/Twitter and be up-to-date with new features, fixes and releases. https://www.facebook.com/pgmodeler https://twitter.com/pgmodeler

TFEL/MFront introduces DSLs based on C++ to handle material knowledge
The TFEL library is a collaborative effort of the French Atomic Commission and Électricité de France. TFEL mostly includes the MFront code generator. MFront is based on C++ and provides several domain specific languages which were designed to simplify the implementations of new material properties, mechanical behaviours and simple material models. A particular focus was made on mechanical behaviours which are by essence more complex and may have significant impact on the numerical performances of mechanical simulations. Various performance benchmarks show that the code generated using MFront is in most cases on par or better than other implementations, generally written in Fortran. For mechanical behaviours, MFront introduces interfaces for various finite element or FTT solvers (Cast3M, Code-Aster, ZeBuLoN, Abaqus, Europlexus, AMITEX_FFT, etc..). The authors hope that it will prove usefull for researchers and engineers, in particular in the field of solid mechanics.
