NSIS (Nullsoft Scriptable Install System) is a professional open source system to create Windows installers. It is designed to be as small and flexible as possible and is therefore very suitable for internet distribution. Being a user's first experience with your product, a stable and reliable installer is an important component of succesful software. With NSIS you can create such installers that are capable of doing everything that is needed to setup your software. NSIS is script-based and allows you to create the logic to handle even the most complex installation tasks. You can navigate your source code and easily get to declarations or implementations of functions, variables and macros (commonly called "symbols") which helps you discovering and mapping unknown source code for enhancement or maintenance tasks.

C++ exception (and generic) stack trace library (now libinstrument)
Project is migrating to libinstrument (https://sourceforge.net/projects/libinstrument/) Libcsdbg is a C++ exception stack tracer, offers the tools to create and process exception traces, the path an exception has propagated up the call stack, unwinding it, up to the point where it was handled. The traces are detailed with demangled function signatures and addr2line info (source file and line of each function call). Libcsdbg will perform flawlessly with multi-threaded programs, with dynamically linked shared objects (DSO) and with any statically linked library. Libcsdbg helps the developer/tester also create stack traces of any thread, at any point during, as a snapshot of the runtime call graph. This is very useful in cases of fatal errors, reception of terminating signals or process abortion/termination (such as segmentation faults)
Converts (packages) Python programs into stand-alone executables
PyInstaller is a program that converts (packages) Python programs into stand-alone executables, under Windows, Linux, Mac OS X, AIX and Solaris. Its main advantages over similar tools are that PyInstaller works with any version of Python since 2.3, it builds smaller executables thanks to transparent compression, it is fully multi-platform, and uses the OS support to load the dynamic libraries, thus ensuring full compatibility. The main goal of PyInstaller is to be compatible with 3rd-party packages out-of-the-box. This means that, with PyInstaller, all the required tricks to make external packages work are already integrated within PyInstaller itself so that there is no user intervention required. You'll never be required to look for tricks in wikis and apply custom modification to your files or your setup scripts. As an example, libraries like PyQt, Django or matplotlib are fully supported, without having to handle plugins or external data files manually.

This is a port of the ebe programming environment to QT.
The ebe programming environment is a nice IDE designed for developing Assembly programs. It also handles C and C++ programs as well since there was not much extra effort. It used to support Fortran and this could return if people want Fortran. This project is an effort to recode ebe using C++ and QT. Originally ebe was coded using Python, Tkinter and Pmw, which worked out pretty well. The QT environment offers substantially better GUI controls. The most obvious difference is that Python ebe has a lot of separate windows, while the QT ebe will use 1 main window and a collection of dockable subwindows. This will make it easier to use.
The freeWrap program turns TCL/TK scripts into single-file binary executable programs. freeWrap can wrap TCL/TK applications that consist of multiple script and binary files. freeWrap combines all the files together into a single executable file.

Cilk is a multicore programming language which gives the ability to write codes which can run parallel on multiple core thus comuting faster result. Our project involves porting of this application onto MAC and packaging it with Fink
