  • ProximityForest

Efficient Approximate Nearest Neighbors for General Metric Spaces

A proximity forest is a data structure that allows for efficient computation of approximate nearest neighbors of arbitrary data elements in a metric space. See: O'Hara and Draper, "Are You Using the Right Approximate Nearest Neighbor Algorithm?", WACV 2013 (best student paper award). One application of a ProximityForest is given in the following CVPR publication: Stephen O'Hara and Bruce A. Draper, "Scalable Action Recognition with a Subspace Forest," IEEE Conference on Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition, 2012. This source code is provided without warranty and is available under the GPL license. More commercially-friendly licenses may be available. Please contact Stephen O'Hara for license options. Please view the wiki on this site for installation instructions and examples on reproducing the results of the papers.

  • deapheap

Deap is a doubly heap for both min and max number access.

A deap is a doubly priority queue for efficient data operations. Both insertion and deletion operations take O(log(N)) time. Access of min or max takes constant time. It can be useful when both min and max are needed in the queue. It can also be used in situations where the number of items is too large and items with low priorities can be dropped with keep memory footprint small.

BloomFilter .NET - A .NET implementation of Bloom Filter

Port from Java implementation by Magnus Skjegstad : https://github.com/MagnusS/Java-BloomFilter A Bloom filter is a data structure designed to tell you, rapidly and memory-efficiently, whether an element is present in a set. It is a probabilistic data structure : while it can tell you with certainty that a given element is NOT in the set, I can only tell you that a given element is PROBABLY in the set (in others words, false positives results may occurs, but not false negatives)

  • StormLisp

Developing Lisp programs for the LEGO EV3 brick

Developing Lisp programs for the LEGO EV3 brick. I have developed in the Java programming language a Lisp interpreter named StormLisp. It can be started on the PC either to process general Lisp programs or to experiment with Lisp. In addition, its main domain is the LEGO EV3 brick that can be controlled by using a StormLisp program. For this I use the leJOS EV3 system which enables the LEGO EV3 brick to process Java programs. This system must first be installed on the LEGO EV3 brick. Then StormLisp is transmitted to the LEGO EV3 brick to process Lisp programs.
