A Java-based visual compiler for GUI recognition and automation. The screens are described in an XML file which contains the definitions of lexemes and the tokens that comprise them. Upon a successful match of a screen, user-defined code is executed. Within the scope of this code, the user is capable of extracting data from the screen, interpreting it, and driving the GUI accordingly. The demonstration example reads the value of a calculator, displays it for the user, and enables him to enter a number which is then inputted into the calculator by pressing the appropriate keys. -

...The animation comes from thirty six medium resolution images, played one after the other, frame by frame giving a simulation of the rotating earth. This widget is a javascript/XML creation that uses the Konfabulator Yahoo javascript widget engine. In the images shown above the rotating earth widget is layered on top my orrery widget, (in fact I am just making changes to that too so that it will incorporate the spinning earth function by default). This is now version 1.0.1 which fixes a bug with regard to running commands on Mac OS/X and it also makes sure it does not get lost too when pushed too far off-screen. -
