For example if you have a table with pages for your website, and you want a menu, you create your page table in your database with a row called parent_select_menu, parent_select_menu will automaticly link to the id row in the menu table and create a dropdownlist with the name rows in the menu table, in this way you can also create submenus. Denu aims to make menu management simple. It detects installed programs and allows arrangement for menus similar accross varying WM/DEs. Denu now is only for gentoo. Other distros will soon be supported.
