Driver Signature Enforcement (DSE) was introduced by Microsoft starting with Windows Vista x64. DSE is a security feature of the operating system, which ensures that only valid signed drivers are loaded. To install unsigned drivers the DSE security feature has to be disabled. DSE-Patcher can be used to disable DSE on all 64-bit operating systems starting with Windows Vista and later.
