When you have lots of notifications on the screen, you simply switch to the Finder by clicking on the desktop. Then you click a keyboard shortcut and voilà: All notifications dissapperar. For notifications in "Alert Style" (with buttons) only. Developed and tested on Mac OS X 10.11.5

DockThemer is a utility application for Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard that allows you to change the style of the Dock through selection of styles and themes.

This AppleScript "Open Applications folder" opens a Finder window for the "Applications" directory in a fixed size. The Finder sometimes "suffers" from amnesia regarding to its window sizes. Just put this compiled script into the dock and you have it at hand quickly. Alternatively I wrote a service which can be installed easily and assigned a keyboard shortcut to execute this code (when the finder is topmost application, just by clicking into the dock for example). Developed and tested on Mac OS X 10.11.5

Power Check provides audible and visual alerts to iBook, PowerBook and MacBook Pro users when changing from battery to AC power or visa versa. Doesn't require Growl and Play Sound, but can use these for extra functionality.

You might know tags as they are used in gmail, delicious.com or last.fm. They let you categorize your items in multiple ways. The files on your computer can be categorized in only one way, because you store them in a folder and that's it. It would be great if there was an easy way to store the same file in multiple folders at the same time, wouldn't it? Well, Tags allows you to do exactly that on the mac. Create new Tags by duplicating and renaming the Mother Tag. Drag your file or folder on top of a Tag icon to add it to that Tag. Double-click a Tag to view all items that you added to it. Remove items from a Tag by dragging them to the Trash. Or remove the Tag itself by dragging it to the Trash. Tags are just like folders in many ways; you can even tag Tags! The software works on Mac OS X 10.4 and all higher versions. A Mac OS X toolbar app to create a file in the current directory, similar to creating a new file in the context menu in Windows Explorer. To install drag the .app file to Finder toolbar. Then click on the application icon to create a new file in the current Finder folder.
