Adds a customizable menu item to Jupyter notebooks to insert snippets, boilerplate, and examples of code. This notebook extension adds a menu item (or multiple menu items, if desired) after the Help menu in Jupyter notebooks. This new menu contains little snippets of code that we all forget from time to time but don't want to google, or are just too lazy to type, or simply didn't know about. It can also be helpful for people just starting out with a programming language, who need some ideas for what to do next — like importing a module, defining variables, or calling functions. The new menu comes with a default value relevant for python programming — especially scientific computing — though this is fully user-configurable as detailed below. The default menu is named Snippets, and contains sub-menus with snippets for a few popular python packages, as well as python itself, and some notebook markdown. -

LostGrid makes use of calc() to create stunning grids based on fractions you define without having to pass a lot of options. LostGrid relies on calc() to create the grid. Thus, LostGrid is limited to browsers that support calc(). The great thing is that calc() is widely supported in all current browsers and the LostGrid usage of calc() is supported as far back as IE9+. If using LostGrid in flexbox mode browser support is limited to IE 10+. To create a basic horizontal grid, just insert some elements into any containing element like so and pass a fraction to the `lost-column` property. A color generator for JavaScript. There are lots of clever one-liners for generating random colors. Unfortunately, this code naturally produces murky greys, browns and greens. randomColor generates attractive colors by default. More specifically, randomColor produces bright colors with a reasonably high saturation. This makes randomColor particularly useful for data visualizations and generative art. Once you’ve included randomColor.js on your page, calling randomColor() will return a random attractive color. Beneath is the output of randomColor called 54 times. You can also pass an options object to randomColor. This allows you to specify the hue, luminosity and the number of colors to generate. -
