    Thaw

    Thaw

Menu bar manager for macOS 26

Thaw is a macOS menu bar management app focused on hiding, showing, and organizing menu bar items, with the broader goal of being a versatile customization toolkit rather than a single-purpose hider. It is a fork of the Ice project created to keep the concept actively maintained, fix bugs, and stay compatible with the latest macOS releases, especially newer versions where menu bar behavior and APIs have changed. At its core, Thaw provides multiple ways to reveal hidden items (hover, click...

    css-doodle

    css-doodle

A web component for drawing patterns with CSS

<css-doodle /> is based on Shadow DOM v1 and Custom Elements v1. You can use it on all major browsers right now without polyfills. The component will generate a grid of divs by the rules (plain CSS) inside it. You can easily manipulate those cells using CSS to come up with a graphic pattern or an animated graph. The limit is the limit of CSS itself. Download the latest version or include it directly from a CDN.

    img2css

    img2css

Convert any image to pure CSS. Recreates images using only box-shadows

This is a tool that can convert any image into a pure CSS image. I also made a per-pixel animation experiment using the box-shadow idea, see morphin. Pure CSS, this output was created by resizing and setting each pixel as a box shadow of a single-pixel div, so no IMG tag or background image is needed. This can result in huge outputs, and the use of this output is not recommended for production unless there is no other option. Base64, the entire image file is embedded inside the <img> tag using base64, so no need for external hosting is needed.

    ShapeOfView

    ShapeOfView

Give a custom shape to any android view, Material Design 2 ready

ShapeOfView is an Android library that lets developers render arbitrary shapes — not just rectangles — for any view. Rather than sticking to Android’s default rectangular layout for views, ShapeOfView allows you to “clip” or mask a view into a variety of shapes (circle, triangle, star, polygon, custom path, etc.), and optionally include shadows (when using elevation) — making it possible to build UI components that diverge from the standard boxy look. It supports both predefined shapes...

    DiagonalLayout

    DiagonalLayout

Explore new styles and approaches on material design

DiagonalLayout is another Android UI library aimed at enabling non-rectangular, more dynamic layout patterns: it provides a custom layout container whose sides (top, bottom, left, right) can be clipped diagonally, producing slanted, angled UI containers. This is especially useful when you want to build visually striking, non-conventional layouts — e.g. a header section on a profile screen with a diagonal bottom edge, a card with angled border, or image backgrounds slanted across the screen....
