Hypermind is a whimsical yet technically intriguing decentralized application that combines a peer-to-peer (P2P) network counter with ephemeral chat functionality, built to “solve” the meta-problem of tracking how many peers are running its container in a decentralized mesh. There’s no central server or database; instead, Hypermind leverages a Distributed Hash Table (DHT) using Hyperswarm to discover peers and maintain approximate counts of active nodes, architected to be a fully decentralized service. Alongside counting nodes, the project also supports ephemeral chat over its mesh network, allowing users to send messages directly to local peers or broadcast via a gossip protocol without storing chat history. The project uses probabilistic data structures like HyperLogLog for efficient estimation of unique peers and provides real-time visualizations and themes for exploring the swarm.

Uncloud is a self-hosted personal cloud and file synchronization platform that gives individuals full control over their data without relying on centralized third-party cloud providers. Designed to replace services like Dropbox or Google Drive for people who want privacy and ownership, uncloud lets you sync files across multiple devices—such as laptops, phones, or home servers—while keeping all contents under your own infrastructure. It supports versioning, conflict resolution, and incremental syncing so changes propagate efficiently without losing history or creating inconsistencies between devices. Users interact with a clean, user-friendly interface for uploading, organizing, and sharing files, while the backend ensures secure, encrypted transportation and storage of data.

m23 is a free software distribution system (license: GPL), that installs (via network, starting with partitioning and formatting) and administrates (updates, adds / removes software, adds / removes scripts) clients with Debian, (X/K)Ubuntu and LinuxMint. It is used for deployment of Linux clients in schools, institutions and enterprises. The m23 server is controlled via a web interface. A new m23 client can be installed easily in only three steps. Group functions and mass installation tools make managing a vast number of clients comfortable. The integration of existing clients (with .deb-based distributions) into the system is possible, too. Client backup and server backup are included to avoid data loss. With the integrated virtualisation software, m23 can create and manage virtual m23 clients, that run on real m23 clients or the m23 server. Scripts and software packages (for installation on clients) can be created directly from the m23 web interface.

SuperAlbum is a java based digital photo album creation and deployment tool. It allows for easy management and viewing of your digital photos thru deployment on the web. The Viewer can be customized and extended to create a unique viewing experience

ACDT is the acronym for Applicative Component Deployment Tool. ACDT was build to manage your applications deployment easily managing scm tasks, build process, environments and reporting in bash.

The Orchestrator server is responsible for distribution and launch of simple apply/rollback shell scripts in a particular order across multiple servers . If for any reason deployment is failing at a particular stage the process will stop and you can rollback any changes done until then. In case you want to deploy your code or just call your preferred DSC client to apply the configuration locally the Orchestrator can be a handy tool. The operation can be started manually or scheduled, depending on your needs. In terms of audit and trace capabilities, the system is collecting all console output of your shell scripts from all servers and saves the logs centrally for review.

Grammar deployment is the process of turning a given grammar specification into a working parser. The Grammar Deployment Kit (for short, GDK) provides tool support in this process based on grammar engineering methods.

LuaDist is a CMake built module distribution and deployment tool for the Lua programming language. It aims to achieve zero configuration runtime environment for Lua modules and libraries be it source or binary.

Switchboard is a port of Gargoyle, a feature flipper for Django apps, to the Pyramid or Pylons stack (including Turbogears). Originally used to selectively roll out changes to the SourceForge site, the library lets you easily control whether a particular change (a switch) is active. You can make switches active for a certain percentage of visitors, all visitors to a particular host in a cluster, or if a particular string is present in the query string. Furthermore you can easily create your own conditions to do fancier things like geo-targeting, specific users, etc. In short, Switchboard turns you into a continuous deployment ninja.

glu is a model-driven deployment and orchestration platform aimed at automating complex rollouts across fleets of machines. It represents desired system state in a declarative model and coordinates agents to converge reality with that model, handling steps like install, start, verify, and promote. The system provides auditing and versioning of deployments, so operators can trace what changed, when, and why. A central console and APIs allow visualizing the topology, triggering rollouts, and performing controlled actions such as canaries and rolling updates. Under the hood it coordinates distributed nodes, tolerating partial failures while continuing to drive toward the target state. By separating deployment recipes from environment specifics, glu encourages repeatable, testable releases for multi-service stacks.
