    DeepSeed

    DeepSeed

Deep learning optimization library making distributed training easy

DeepSpeed is a deep learning optimization library that makes distributed training easy, efficient, and effective. DeepSpeed delivers extreme-scale model training for everyone, from data scientists training on massive supercomputers to those training on low-end clusters or even on a single GPU. Using current generation of GPU clusters with hundreds of devices, 3D parallelism of DeepSpeed can efficiently train deep learning models with trillions of parameters. With just a single GPU, ZeRO-Offload of DeepSpeed can train models with over 10B parameters, 10x bigger than the state of arts, democratizing multi-billion-parameter model training such that many deep learning scientists can explore bigger and better models. Sparse attention of DeepSpeed powers an order-of-magnitude longer input sequence and obtains up to 6x faster execution comparing with dense transformers.

    DeepVariant

    DeepVariant

DeepVariant is an analysis pipeline that uses a deep neural networks

DeepVariant is an analysis pipeline that uses a deep neural network to call genetic variants from next-generation DNA sequencing data. DeepVariant is a deep learning-based variant caller that takes aligned reads (in BAM or CRAM format), produces pileup image tensors from them, classifies each tensor using a convolutional neural network, and finally reports the results in a standard VCF or gVCF file. DeepTrio is a deep learning-based trio variant caller built on top of DeepVariant. DeepTrio extends DeepVariant's functionality, allowing it to utilize the power of neural networks to predict genomic variants in trios or duos. See this page for more details and instructions on how to run DeepTrio. Out-of-the-box use for PCR-positive samples and low quality sequencing runs, and easy adjustments for different sequencing technologies and non-human species.

    Face Mask Detection

    Face Mask Detection

Face Mask Detection system based on computer vision and deep learning

Face Mask Detection system based on computer vision and deep learning using OpenCV and Tensorflow/Keras. Face Mask Detection System built with OpenCV, Keras/TensorFlow using Deep Learning and Computer Vision concepts in order to detect face masks in static images as well as in real-time video streams. Amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, there are no efficient face mask detection applications which are now in high demand for transportation means, densely populated areas, residential districts, large-scale manufacturers and other enterprises to ensure safety. The absence of large datasets of ‘with_mask’ images has made this task cumbersome and challenging. Our face mask detector doesn't use any morphed masked images dataset and the model is accurate. Owing to the use of MobileNetV2 architecture, it is computationally efficient, thus making it easier to deploy the model to embedded systems (Raspberry Pi, Google Coral, etc.).

    Horovod

    Horovod

Distributed training framework for TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, etc.

Horovod was originally developed by Uber to make distributed deep learning fast and easy to use, bringing model training time down from days and weeks to hours and minutes. With Horovod, an existing training script can be scaled up to run on hundreds of GPUs in just a few lines of Python code. Horovod can be installed on-premise or run out-of-the-box in cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, and Databricks. Horovod can additionally run on top of Apache Spark, making it possible to unify data processing and model training into a single pipeline. Once Horovod has been configured, the same infrastructure can be used to train models with any framework, making it easy to switch between TensorFlow, PyTorch, MXNet, and future frameworks as machine learning tech stacks continue to evolve. Start scaling your model training with just a few lines of Python code. Scale up to hundreds of GPUs with upwards of 90% scaling efficiency.

    Image classification models for Keras

    Image classification models for Keras

Keras code and weights files for popular deep learning models

All architectures are compatible with both TensorFlow and Theano, and upon instantiation the models will be built according to the image dimension ordering set in your Keras configuration file at ~/.keras/keras.json. For instance, if you have set image_dim_ordering=tf, then any model loaded from this repository will get built according to the TensorFlow dimension ordering convention, "Width-Height-Depth". Pre-trained weights can be automatically loaded upon instantiation (weights='imagenet' argument in model constructor for all image models, weights='msd' for the music tagging model). Weights are automatically downloaded if necessary, and cached locally in ~/.keras/models/. This repository contains code for the following Keras models, VGG16, VGG19, ResNet50, Inception v3, and CRNN for music tagging.

Jittor is a high-performance deep learning framework

Jittor is a high-performance deep learning framework based on JIT compiling and meta-operators. The whole framework and meta-operators are compiled just in time. A powerful op compiler and tuner are integrated into Jittor. It allowed us to generate high-performance code specialized for your model. Jittor also contains a wealth of high-performance model libraries, including image recognition, detection, segmentation, generation, differentiable rendering, geometric learning, reinforcement learning, etc. The front-end language is Python. Module Design and Dynamic Graph Execution is used in the front-end, which is the most popular design for deep learning framework interface. The back-end is implemented by high-performance languages, such as CUDA, C++. Jittor'op is similar to NumPy. Let's try some operations. We create Var a and b via operation jt.float32, and add them. Printing those variables shows they have the same shape and dtype.

    SHAP

    SHAP

A game theoretic approach to explain the output of ml models

SHAP (SHapley Additive exPlanations) is a game theoretic approach to explain the output of any machine learning model. It connects optimal credit allocation with local explanations using the classic Shapley values from game theory and their related extensions. While SHAP can explain the output of any machine learning model, we have developed a high-speed exact algorithm for tree ensemble methods. Fast C++ implementations are supported for XGBoost, LightGBM, CatBoost, scikit-learn and pyspark tree models. To understand how a single feature effects the output of the model we can plot the SHAP value of that feature vs. the value of the feature for all the examples in a dataset. Since SHAP values represent a feature's responsibility for a change in the model output, the plot below represents the change in predicted house price as RM (the average number of rooms per house in an area) changes.

    Audiomentations

    Audiomentations

A Python library for audio data augmentation

A Python library for audio data augmentation. Inspired by albumentations. Useful for deep learning. Runs on CPU. Supports mono audio and multichannel audio. Can be integrated in training pipelines in e.g. Tensorflow/Keras or Pytorch. Has helped people get world-class results in Kaggle competitions. Is used by companies making next-generation audio products. Mix in another sound, e.g. a background noise. Useful if your original sound is clean and you want to simulate an environment where background noise is present. A folder of (background noise) sounds to be mixed in must be specified. These sounds should ideally be at least as long as the input sounds to be transformed. Otherwise, the background sound will be repeated, which may sound unnatural. Note that the gain of the added noise is relative to the amount of signal in the input. This implies that if the input is completely silent, no noise will be added.

    Auto-PyTorch

    Auto-PyTorch

Automatic architecture search and hyperparameter optimization

While early AutoML frameworks focused on optimizing traditional ML pipelines and their hyperparameters, another trend in AutoML is to focus on neural architecture search. To bring the best of these two worlds together, we developed Auto-PyTorch, which jointly and robustly optimizes the network architecture and the training hyperparameters to enable fully automated deep learning (AutoDL). Auto-PyTorch is mainly developed to support tabular data (classification, regression) and time series data (forecasting). The newest features in Auto-PyTorch for tabular data are described in the paper "Auto-PyTorch Tabular: Multi-Fidelity MetaLearning for Efficient and Robust AutoDL" (see below for bibtex ref). Details about Auto-PyTorch for multi-horizontal time series forecasting tasks can be found in the paper "Efficient Automated Deep Learning for Time Series Forecasting" (also see below for bibtex ref).
