    FluentMigrator

    FluentMigrator

    Fluent migrations framework for .NET

Fluent Migrator is a migration framework for .NET much like Ruby on Rails Migrations. Migrations are a structured way to alter your database schema and are an alternative to creating lots of sql scripts that have to be run manually by every developer involved. Migrations solve the problem of evolving a database schema for multiple databases (for example, the developer's local database, the test database and the production database). Database schema changes are described in classes written in C# that can be checked into a version control system. FluentMigrator is a .NET library that helps to version database schema using incremental migrations which are described in C#. The basic idea of the FAKE helper is to run FluentMigrator over the existing database using compiled assembly with migrations.

    Go MySQL Driver

    Go MySQL Driver

MySQL driver for Go's (golang) database/sql package

Lightweight and fast, native Go implementation. No C-bindings, just pure Go. Connections over TCP/IPv4, TCP/IPv6, Unix domain sockets or custom protocols. Automatic handling of broken connections, as well as automatic Connection Pooling (by database/sql package). Supports queries larger than 16MB. Full sql.RawBytes support. It provides intelligent LONG DATA handling in prepared statements. Secure LOAD DATA LOCAL INFILE support with file allowlisting and io.Reader support. Optional time.Time parsing, as well as optional placeholder interpolation. db.SetConnMaxLifetime() is required to ensure connections are closed by the driver safely before connection is closed by MySQL server, OS, or other middlewares. Since some middlewares close idle connections by 5 minutes, we recommend timeout shorter than 5 minutes. This setting helps load balancing and changing system variables too.

The graph notebook provides an easy way to interact with graph databases using Jupyter notebooks. Using this open-source Python package, you can connect to any graph database that supports the Apache TinkerPop, openCypher or the RDF SPARQL graph models. These databases could be running locally on your desktop or in the cloud. Graph databases can be used to explore a variety of use cases including knowledge graphs and identity graphs. This project includes many examples of Jupyter notebooks. It is recommended to explore them. All of the commands and features supported by graph notebook are explained in detail with examples within the sample notebooks. You can find them here. As this project has evolved, many new features have been added. If you are already familiar with graph-notebook but want a quick summary of new features added, a good place to start is the Air-Routes notebooks in the 02-Visualization folder.

    Ibis

    Ibis

Expressive analytics in Python at any scale

Ibis is a Python library to help you write expressive analytics at any scale, small to large. Its goal is to simplify analytical workflows and make you more productive. Ibis gives you the benefit of a programming language. You don't need to sacrifice maintainability to get to those insights! Ibis builds on top of and works with existing Python tools. Ibis provides a full-featured replacement for SQL SELECT queries, but expressed with Python code. All tables in Ibis are immutable. To select a subset of a table's columns, or to add new columns, you must produce a new table by means of a projection. If you pass a function instead of a string or Ibis expression in any projection context, it will be invoked with the "parent" table as its argument. This can help significantly when [composing complex operations.

    Jenkins Docker

    Jenkins Docker

    Docker jenkins repo

The Jenkins Continuous Integration and Delivery server available on Docker Hub. The leading open source automation server, Jenkins provides hundreds of plugins to support building, deploying and automating any project. If you bind mount in a volume, you can simply back up that directory (which is jenkins_home) at any time. This is highly recommended. Treat the jenkins_home directory as you would a database, in Docker you would generally put a database on a volume. If your volume is inside a container, you can use a Docker command to extract the data, or other options to find where the volume data is. Note that some symlinks on some OSes may be converted to copies (this can confuse jenkins with lastStableBuild links etc). You can define the number of executors on the Jenkins built-in node using a groovy script. By default it is set to 2 executors, but you can extend the image and change it to your desired number of executors.

    Kysely

    Kysely

A type-safe typescript SQL query builder

Kysely (pronounce “Key-Seh-Lee”) is a type-safe and autocompletion-friendly typescript SQL query builder. Inspired by knex. Mainly developed for node.js but also runs on deno and in the browser. Kysely makes sure you only refer to tables and columns that are visible to the part of the query you're writing. The result type only has the selected columns with correct types and aliases. As an added bonus you get autocompletion for all that stuff. As shown in the gif above, through the pure magic of modern typescript, Kysely is even able to parse the alias given to pet.name and add the pet_name column to the result row type. Kysely is able to infer column names, aliases and types from selected subqueries, joined subqueries, with statements and pretty much anything you can think of. Of course there are cases where things cannot be typed at compile time, and Kysely offers escape hatches for these situations.

    LINQ to DB

    LINQ to DB

    Linq to database provider

LINQ to DB is the fastest LINQ database access library offering a simple, light, fast, and type-safe layer between your POCO objects and your database. Architecturally it is one step above micro-ORMs like Dapper, Massive, or PetaPoco, in that you work with LINQ expressions, not with magic strings, while maintaining a thin abstraction layer between your code and the database. Your queries are checked by the C# compiler and allow for easy refactoring. However, it's not as heavy as LINQ to SQL or Entity Framework. There is no change-tracking, so you have to manage that yourself, but on the positive side you get more control and faster access to your data. In other words LINQ to DB is type-safe SQL. Alternatively, you can implement custom settings provider with ILinqToDBSettings interface. You can generate POCO classes from your database using T4 templates.

    Laravel-Translatable

    Laravel-Translatable

A Laravel package for multilingual models

If you want to store translations of your models into the database, this package is for you. This is a Laravel package for translatable models. Its goal is to remove the complexity in retrieving and storing multilingual model instances. With this package you write less code, as the translations are being fetched/saved when you fetch/save your instance. If the property fallback is enabled in the configuration, then translatable will return the translation of the fallback locale for the fields where the translation is empty. This package is made to translate strings, but in general it's also able to translate numbers, bools or whatever you want to. Translatable is fully compatible with all kinds of Eloquent extensions, including Ardent. For tables already created in production, update your migrations to change the engine of the table before adding the foreign key constraint.
