Node.js database migration management for Postgresql
.../node_modules/.bin/node-pg-migrate. Add "migrate": "node-pg-migrate" to scripts section of package.json so you are able to quickly run commands. Run npm run migrate create my first migration. It will create file xxx_my-first-migration.js in migrations folder. Now you should put your DB connection string to DATABASE_URL environment variable and run npm run migrate up. (e.g. DATABASE_URL=postgres://test:test@localhost:5432/test npm run migrate up). -

...All the data associated with an item as well as the names of the item images are stored in a MySQL database on the users PC. Other things I found useful to photograph were items on shelves like books or CDs. By providing a zoom and rotate features I was able to browse my books or CDs on my shelves anywhere in the house. The more I used the program the more features I wanted to add. The program is fairly generic and can be used for a variety of collections within a tree structure. ...It shows great performance for both nodejs and browsers. doT.js is fast, small and has no dependencies. doT is a really solid piece of software engineering (I didn’t create it) that is rarely updated exactly for this reason. It took me years to grasp how it works even though it’s only 140 lines of code, it looks like magic. I used it in my other projects (e.g. ajv) as the smallest, fastest and most functional (all three!) templating engine ever made, that is particularly useful in all code generation scenarios where manipulating AST is overkill. doT allows arbitrary JavaScript code in templates, making it one of the most flexible and powerful templating engines. It means that doT security model assumes that you only use trusted templates and you don't use any user input as any part of the template, as otherwise it can lead to code injection. -

I am not going into a allot of detail about your server and how to set it up. If you have a web server running MySQL, you should be well enough versed in using this. Just upload the AMovieCollector folder to your web root directory. Using PHPMyAdmin (or whatever your choice is) create a "blank" db called AMovieCollector. -

This tool conects to a catalog of a given database and extract some metadata that can be handy for revision. The metadata are extracted to a xml file, useful for comparison (see also my project comparator), Metadata are extracted using JDBC. Supported DBMS: MySQL and PosgreSQL. The metadata extracted from the catalog are: Catalog -> name Tables -> name and if its a view. Column-> name, type, precision, length, is null Index -> name, is primary key, is unique, and a list of its fields.
