    react-native-picker-select

    react-native-picker-select

A Picker component for React Native for iOS and Android

A Picker component for React Native which emulates the native select interfaces for iOS and Android. For iOS, by default we are wrapping an unstyled TextInput component. You can then pass down styles to customize it to your needs. For Android, by default we are using the native Picker component. If you prefer, you can set useNativeAndroidPickerStyle to false, which will also render an unstyled TextInput component. You can then pass down styles to customize it to your needs. For either platform, you can alternatively pass down a child element of your choice that will be wrapped in a touchable area. The component defaults to using the native Android Picker in its un-selected state. Setting this flag to false will mimic the default iOS presentation where a tappable TextInput is displayed.

    PouchDB

    PouchDB

    The Database that Syncs!

PouchDB is an open source, pocket-sized JavaScript database that conveniently synchronizes with servers when it gets back online. It’s inspired by Apache CouchDB, so it’s designed to run well within the browser. PouchDB was created to enable web developers to build applications that will work just as well offline as they do online. It enables applications to store data locally while offline, and once back online it will synchronize with CouchDB and compatible servers, so your data will always be in sync. PouchDB works on various browsers, including Chrome, Firefox, Safari and more. It’s very lightweight and though some programming knowledge is required, is still very easy to learn.

    Twitter-Post-Fetcher

    Twitter-Post-Fetcher

Fetch your twitter posts without using the new Twitter 1.1 API

Allows you to get your tweets displayed on your website using JavaScript, without using new Twitter 1.1 API. Recently I was quite frustrated to find out that the old API on Twitter was depreciated and the overhead in setting up a system to perform OAUTH just to get my already publicly available tweets was too damn high. Even worse I couldn't find any simple solutions for JavaScript. All code examples were server-side. So after much thinking, I invented the following solution. It makes use of the over-bloated widgets Twitter gives us to put on our sites, cuts out all the nonsense (and nonsemantic markup), and returns to you your raw tweet text so you can do with it as you please and style it how you want on your own website - like it should be. Instructions on how to get it working with your tweets are in the code comments, just do what it says! Enjoy!

    elasticsearch-head

    elasticsearch-head

A web front end for an elastic search cluster

elasticsearch-head is a web front end for browsing and interacting with an Elastic Search cluster. elasticsearch-head is hosted and can be downloaded or forked at github. There are two ways of running and installing elasticsearch-head. Running as a plugin of ElasticSearch (this is the preferred method). And running as a standalone webapp. By default es-head will immediately attempt to connect to a cluster node at http://localhost:9200/. Enter a different node address in the connect box and click 'Connect' if required. A ClusterOverview, which shows the topology of your cluster and allows you to perform index and node level operations. A couple of search interfaces that allow you to query the cluster a retrieve results in raw json or tabular format. Several quick access tabs that show the status of the cluster. An input section that allows arbitrary call to the RESTful API to be made. This interface includes several options that can be combined to produce interesting results.

    level

    level

Universal abstract-level database for Node.js and browsers

Universal abstract-level database for Node.js and browsers. Universal abstract-level database for Node.js and browsers. This is a convenience package that exports classic-level in Node.js and browser-level in browsers, making it an ideal entry point to start creating lexicographically sorted key-value databases. All asynchronous methods also support callbacks. TypeScript type declarations are included and cover the methods that are common between classic-level and browser-level. Usage from TypeScript requires generic type parameters. At the time of writing, level works in Node.js 12+ and Electron 5+ on Linux, Mac OS, Windows and FreeBSD, including any future Node.js and Electron release thanks to Node-API, including ARM platforms like Raspberry Pi and Android, as well as in Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari, iOS Safari and Chrome for Android.

    Bower

    Bower

A package manager for the web

Bower offers generic, unopinionated front-end package management. It manages all the packages you need for a website, making sure they are all up-to-date and in the specific versions that you need. Bower can manage components that contain HTML, CSS, JavaScript, fonts or even image files. There’s no concatenating, minifying code or anything else - it just installs the right versions of the packages you need and their dependencies. How you use your packages will then be entirely up to you. Bower runs over Git and is package-agnostic, which means that a packaged component can be made up of any type of asset, and use any type of transport.

    Falcon

    Falcon

Free, open-source SQL client for Windows and Mac

Falcon is a free, open-source SQL editor with inline data visualization. With Falcon you can connect to your database in the Connection tab, run SQL queries in the Query tab, then export your results as a CSV or open them in the Chart Studio to unlock the full power of Plotly graphs. Optionally, you can use Falcon as a middleman between plot.ly and your database - so that when your database updates, your charts and dashboards update as well. Currently, Falcon supports connections to RedShift, MySQL, PostgreSQL, IBM DB2, Impala, MS SQL, and SQLite. In version 2.0+, the app will now automatically generate an SSL. This may take several minutes! Falcon is open source and works without an internet connection or a Plotly Chart Studio account. The software works well and we hope you find it useful.

    Medis

    Medis

Easy-to-use Mac database management application for Redis

Medis is a beautiful, easy-to-use Redis management application built on the modern web with Electron, React, and Redux. It's powered by many awesome Node.js modules, especially ioredis and ssh2. Medis only supports Redis >= 2.8 version because SCAN command was introduced since 2.8. SCAN is very useful to get key list without blocking the server, which is crucial to the production environment. Because the latest stable is 5.0 and 2.6 is a very old version, Medis doesn't support it. Works with millions keys and key members without blocking the redis server. Medis can connect to Heroku Redis addon to manage your data. You can download compiled versions of Medis for Mac OS X from the release page. Medis 0.6.0 is released with the support for in-key searching. Medis starts with all the basic features you need.

    ZeroClipboard

    ZeroClipboard

The ZeroClipboard library to copy text to the clipboard

The ZeroClipboard library provides an easy way to copy text to the clipboard using an invisible Adobe Flash movie and a JavaScript interface. The "Zero" signifies that the library is invisible and the user interface is left entirely up to you. To test this page locally, checkout the gh-pages branch, install jekyll and run jekyll serve to open localhost:4000. This is achieved by automatically floating the invisible movie on top of a DOM element of your choice. Standard mouse events are even propagated out to your DOM element, so you can still have rollover and mouse down effects. To setup, the project for local development starts with these commands in your terminal. Before submitting a pull request you'll need to validate, build, and test your code. Run the default grunt task in your terminal.

    embetty

    embetty

Embetty displays remote content like tweets or YouTube videos

Embetty displays remote content like tweets or videos without compromising your privacy. Setup your embetty-server. Include the embetty lib into your HTML document. Insert an embed by using a custom tag. Embetty needs a server component that you need to run on your infrastructure. Configure the server URL for embetty using a meta data-embetty-server tag. Use the type attribute with a value of facebook, vimeo or youtube. Set the video-id attribute to the video ID. For videos of type vimeo or youtube, it's also possible to set a start-at attribute with a value of time in seconds to start the video at a specific timecode. The Embetty server component does not proxy video data. This means that the tracking protection becomes ineffective after the play button has been clicked. Currently, tweets and various video platforms are supported.

    marko

    marko

A declarative, HTML-based language that makes building web apps fun

A declarative, HTML-based language that makes building web apps fun. If you know HTML, CSS, and Javascript, you know Marko. Streaming, partial hydration, an optimizing compiler, & a small runtime. Start with simple HTML templates and add powerful components as needed. Marko is powering high-traffic websites like ebay.com. Marko is HTML re-imagined as a language for building dynamic and reactive user interfaces. Just about any valid HTML is valid Marko, but Marko extends the HTML language to allow building modern applications in a declarative way. Marko streams content to your users as soon as it’s ready. No waiting for client side JavaScript bundles or data requests to start rendering. HTML, assets, and images are loaded as soon as possible with asynchronous data loading in as it completes. Marko only sends the code for interactive components to the browser. Its compiler automatically detects which components only need to be rendered on the server.

    react-imgpro

    react-imgpro

    Image Processing Component for React

react-imgpro is an image-processing component for React. This component process an image with filters supplied as props and returns a base64 image. I was working on a project last month which involved a lot of image processing and I'd to rely on third party libraries. But before using them directly, I'd to learn different concepts in gl (shaders) and then try to implement them in React. The difficult part was not learning but it was the verbosity, boilerplate code and redundancy introduced by the libraries in the codebase. It was getting difficult to organize all the things. And React's component-based model was perfect for hiding all the implementation details in a component.
