XDBM is an XQuery implementation on the W3C's EXI binaryXML format.
XDBM version 2 will be an XQuery implementation that uses EXIP to handle binaryXML in the EXI format adopted by the W3C. It will, like EXIP, aim to be as small as possible so that it runs well on resource constrained devices. It is still in the project design stage.
