    LinearOperators.jl

    Linear Operators for Julia

Operators behave like matrices (with some exceptions - see below) but are defined by their effect when applied to a vector. They can be transposed, conjugated, or combined with other operators cheaply. The costly operation is deferred until multiplied with a vector.

    Literate

    Literate

Simple package for literate programming in Julia

Literate is a package for Literate Programming. The main purpose is to facilitate writing Julia examples/tutorials that can be included in your package documentation. Literate can generate markdown pages (for e.g. Documenter.jl), and Jupyter notebooks, from the same source file. There is also an option to "clean" the source from all metadata, and produce a pure Julia script. Using a single source file for multiple purposes reduces maintenance, and makes sure your different output formats are synced with each other.

    LoggingExtras.jl

    LoggingExtras.jl

Composable Loggers for the Julia Logging StdLib

LoggingExtras allows routing logged information to different places when constructing complicated "log plumbing" systems. Built upon the concept of simple parts composed together, subtyping AbstractLogger provides a powerful and flexible definition for your logging system without a need to define any custom loggers. When we talk about composability, the composition of any set of Loggers is itself a Logger, and LoggingExtras is a composable logging system.

    LogisticBell

Here we test the Logistic Map using finite and infinite precision...

Here we test the Logistic Map using finite and infinite precision floats (Apfloats). More decimals produce longer sequence (longer chaotic signal for certain parameters). Shorter decimal precision makes the sequence converge to zero eventually. In the process, number of decimals rises and then drops for some reason, forming a bell-shaped curve with long tail. On second consideration, this does not look like a bell-shaped curve at all. Logistic map calculated with parameters x initial = 0.9 and r = 4.

    LossFunctions.jl

    LossFunctions.jl

Julia package of loss functions for machine learning

This package represents a community effort to centralize the definition and implementation of loss functions in Julia. As such, it is a part of the JuliaML ecosystem. The sole purpose of this package is to provide an efficient and extensible implementation of various loss functions used throughout Machine Learning (ML). It is thus intended to serve as a special purpose back-end for other ML libraries that require losses to accomplish their tasks. To that end we provide a considerable amount of carefully implemented loss functions, as well as an API to query their properties (e.g. convexity). Furthermore, we expose methods to compute their values, derivatives, and second derivatives for single observations as well as arbitrarily sized arrays of observations. In the case of arrays a user additionally has the ability to define if and how element-wise results are averaged or summed over.

    LostGrid

    LostGrid

LostGrid is a powerful grid system built in PostCSS

Lost Grid is a powerful grid system built in PostCSS that works with any preprocessor and even vanilla CSS. LostGrid makes use of calc() to create stunning grids based on fractions you define without having to pass a lot of options. LostGrid relies on calc() to create the grid. Thus, LostGrid is limited to browsers that support calc(). The great thing is that calc() is widely supported in all current browsers and the LostGrid usage of calc() is supported as far back as IE9+. If using LostGrid in flexbox mode browser support is limited to IE 10+. To create a basic horizontal grid, just insert some elements into any containing element like so and pass a fraction to the `lost-column` property. To unset (or remove) a column rule, possibly at a larger breakpoint, use `lost-column: none;`

    Lowlighter Metrics

    Lowlighter Metrics

An infographics generator with 30+ plugins and 300+ options

Metrics is a highly customizable GitHub infographic generator for profiles, organizations, and repositories. It transforms GitHub activity and metadata into visual cards that can be embedded in profile READMEs or other pages. The project includes dozens of plugins and hundreds of configuration options for controlling what information appears. Available modules cover contribution calendars, programming languages, stargazers, lines of code, licenses, starred repositories, coding habits, and other account statistics. Outputs can be rendered as SVG, Markdown, PDF, or JSON depending on the intended use. The generator can be automated so visual statistics stay updated as GitHub activity changes. Its modular design allows users to build compact summaries or dense dashboards from the same system.

    Luxor

    Luxor

Simple drawings using vector graphics; Cairo "for tourists!"

Luxor is a Julia package for drawing simple static 2D vector graphics. It provides basic drawing functions and utilities for working with shapes, polygons, clipping masks, PNG and SVG images, turtle graphics, and simple animations. The focus of Luxor is on simplicity and ease of use: it should be easier to use than plain Cairo.jl, with shorter names, fewer underscores, default contexts, and simplified functions. For more complex and sophisticated graphics in 2D and 3D, Makie.jl is the best choice. Luxor is thoroughly procedural and static: your code issues a sequence of simple graphics ‘commands’ until you’ve completed a drawing, and then the results are saved into a PDF, PNG, SVG, or EPS file.
