Impact is an explicit Finite Element Program Suite which simulates dynamic impact events. It has a range of elements, contact handling and different material laws. Models can be created, solved and analyzed with the included pre- and postprocessor. Impact is based on an Explicit Time stepping algorithm. These kind of codes are used to simulate dynamic phenomena such as car crashes and similar, usually involving large deformations.

Sharing lists of molecular structures with associated chemical properties is a common task in computer-aided drug design and medicinal chemistry. WebChem Viewer is a simple, free, open-source program that generates HTML-formatted output that can be viewed in any modern web browser, on any operating system (including mobile), without requiring the installation of additional software. The output can also be easily incorporated into existing web pages. WebChem Viewer is released under the FreeBSD license. It was created by Jacob Durrant, a post-doc in the lab of Rommie E. Amaro. -

InterferenceSimulator is a program demonstrating quantal two-slit Fresnel interference patterns with one, the other, or both slits open. A magnetic flux situated between the two slits allows demonstration of the Aharonov–Bohm effect. Simulations with short de Broglie wavelengths illustrate the classical limit of quantum mechanics. Because of the universality of wave phenomena, this program can also demonstrate the geometrical-optics limit of wave optics for small wavelengths. -
