DSOL: A Distributed Simulation Object Library implemented in Java
DSOL is a full featured multi-formalism, distributed simulation environment developed at Delft University of Technology (The Netherlands). DSOL has support for discrete event and for continuous modeling. Formalisms supported are event scheduling, DEVS, flow-based simulation, and continuous modeling through sets of differential equations. The first release was introduced at IEEE's Winter Simulation Conference in 2002. The intention behind this Lidar Visualisation Toolbox is to provide an easy-to-use, stand-alone application to create visualisations from high-resolution airborne LIDAR-based digital elevation data. LiVT also includes tools like raster file creation from xyz point clouds. A few mouse clicks and some processing time should be enough to go from an xyz ASCII file to a grey-scale SVF image, an LRM map or a percentage map of cumulative visibility. As LiVT does not include a data viewer, additional software will be necessary to display the processing results. -

This MATLAB-based program enables analysis of AFM images. In particular, it allows the user to measure the volume of all distinguishable features in an image and to isolate and sort those particles. As the name implies, LAVA uses Lloyd's Algorithm, also known as k-means sorting, to identify a small set of volumes representative of the actual distribution of particle in the image.
