...The package is aimed to ease the typical steps of analysis of climate models outputs and gridded datasets (support for weather stations is a work-in-progress). Climate indices and bias correction functions are coded to leverage the use of multiple threads. To gain maximum performance, use (bash shell Linux/MacOSX) export JULIA_NUM_THREADS=n, where n is the number of threads. To get an idea of the number of threads you can use type (in Julia) Sys.THREADS. This is especially useful for bias correction.

Ccide reads a source program, in one of several programming languages, expands all embedded decision tables, and generates the new, expanded source. Ccidew processes C language programs directly. The script, ccide, uses ccidew and m4, to process BASIC, JAVA, CC, C++, BASH, QB, VB, and EX(euphoria), source files containing embedded decision tables. Ccide checks all conditions once and only once, avoiding side effects. Ccide checks tables for conflicts and other errors. GiANT is a graphical interface for computer algebra systems (OS X/UNIX/Win). Currently GiANT lets the user work with number fields via KASH, but we aim to develop it into a GUI Library to run on top of any CAS and expose any of its functions.
