    ScientificTypes.jl

    ScientificTypes.jl

An API for dispatching on the "scientific" type of data

This package makes a distinction between machine type and scientific type of a Julia object. The machine type refers to the Julia type being used to represent the object (for instance, Float64). The scientific type is one of the types defined in ScientificTypesBase.jl reflecting how the object should be interpreted (for instance, Continuous or Multiclass).

    TensorBoardLogger.jl

    TensorBoardLogger.jl

Easy peasy logging to TensorBoard with Julia

TensorBoardLogger.jl is a native library for logging arbitrary data to Tensorboard, extending Julia's standard Logging framework. It can also be used to deserialize TensoBoard's .proto files. The fundamental type defined in this package is a TBLogger, which behaves like other standard loggers in Julia such as ConsoleLogger or TextLogger. You can create one by passing it the path to the folder where you want to store the data. You can also pass an optional second argument to specify the behaviour in case there already exists a document at the given path.

    folium

    folium

    Python data, Leaflet.js maps

folium builds on the data wrangling strengths of the Python ecosystem and the mapping strengths of the leaflet.js library. Manipulate your data in Python, then visualize it in on a Leaflet map via folium. folium makes it easy to visualize data that’s been manipulated in Python on an interactive leaflet map. It enables both the binding of data to a map for choropleth visualizations as well as passing rich vector/raster/HTML visualizations as markers on the map. The library has a number of built-in tilesets from OpenStreetMap, Mapbox, and Stamen, and supports custom tilesets with Mapbox or Cloudmade API keys. folium supports both Image, Video, GeoJSON and TopoJSON overlays. To create a base map, simply pass your starting coordinates to Folium. To display it in a Jupyter notebook, simply ask for the object representation. The default tiles are set to OpenStreetMap, but Stamen Terrain, Stamen Toner, Mapbox Bright, and Mapbox Control Room, and many others tiles are built in.

    force-graph

    force-graph

Force-directed graph rendered on HTML5 canvas

Force Graph is a JavaScript component for rendering interactive force-directed graphs on an HTML5 canvas. It uses d3-force as its physics engine to calculate node positions through iterative simulation. Developers can load graph structures containing nodes and links and update the data dynamically. Users can zoom, pan, drag nodes, and interact with nodes or links through hover and click events. Nodes can contain text, images, custom shapes, colors, and configurable labels. Links can display arrows, moving particles, custom styles, and other visual indicators for exploring relationships in network data.

    geemap

    geemap

A Python package for interactive geospaital analysis and visualization

A Python package for interactive geospatial analysis and visualization with Google Earth Engine. Geemap is a Python package for geospatial analysis and visualization with Google Earth Engine (GEE), which is a cloud computing platform with a multi-petabyte catalog of satellite imagery and geospatial datasets. During the past few years, GEE has become very popular in the geospatial community and it has empowered numerous environmental applications at local, regional, and global scales. GEE provides both JavaScript and Python APIs for making computational requests to the Earth Engine servers. Compared with the comprehensive documentation and interactive IDE (i.e., GEE JavaScript Code Editor) of the GEE JavaScript API, the GEE Python API has relatively little documentation and limited functionality for visualizing results interactively. The geemap Python package was created to fill this gap.

    libCEED

    libCEED

CEED Library: Code for Efficient Extensible Discretizations

libCEED provides fast algebra for element-based discretizations, designed for performance portability, run-time flexibility, and clean embedding in higher-level libraries and applications. It offers a C99 interface as well as bindings for Fortran, Python, Julia, and Rust. While our focus is on high-order finite elements, the approach is mostly algebraic and thus applicable to other discretizations in factored form, as explained in the user manual and API implementation portion of the documentation. One of the challenges with high-order methods is that a global sparse matrix is no longer a good representation of a high-order linear operator, both with respect to the FLOPs needed for its evaluation, as well as the memory transfer needed for a matvec. Thus, high-order methods require a new "format" that still represents a linear (or more generally non-linear) operator, but not through a sparse matrix.

    plotly.js

    plotly.js

JavaScript charting library behind Plotly and Dash

Plotly JavaScript Open Source Graphing Library. Built on top of d3.js and stack.gl, Plotly.js is a high-level, declarative charting library. plotly.js ships with over 40 chart types, including 3D charts, statistical graphs, and SVG maps. plotly.js is free and open source and you can view the source, report issues or contribute on GitHub. For plotly.js to build with Webpack you will need to install ify-loader@v1.1.0+ and add it to your webpack.config.json. This adds Browserify transform compatibility to Webpack which is necessary for some plotly.js dependencies. When users hover over a figure generated with plotly.js, a modebar appears in the top-right of the figure. This presents users with several options for interacting with the figure. visual-explainer

    visual-explainer

Agent skill + prompt templates that generate rich HTML pages

visual-explainer is an AI-oriented agent skill that converts complex terminal or analytical output into polished, human-readable HTML reports designed for quick comprehension and sharing. The project includes prompt templates and automation logic that enable coding agents to generate visual summaries such as diff reviews, architecture overviews, plan audits, and structured data tables. Its primary goal is to bridge the readability gap between raw machine output and stakeholder-friendly documentation. By producing styled web pages instead of plain text logs, visual-explainer improves communication in engineering and AI workflows where clarity is critical. The tool is particularly useful in environments that rely on autonomous agents or CI pipelines that generate dense technical output.

    Checkmate

    Checkmate

Checkmate is an open-source, self-hosted tool

Checkmate is an open-source, self-hosted infrastructure monitoring platform that provides real-time visibility into server health, uptime, response times, and incident activity through a modern web interface. The application continuously checks whether websites and services are accessible and performing optimally, generating alerts and reports when availability or performance degrades. It supports detailed infrastructure monitoring through an optional agent called Capture, which collects hardware metrics such as CPU, memory, disk usage, and temperature from remote machines. The system is designed to scale, having been stress-tested with more than a thousand active monitors without major performance issues. Checkmate also includes incident tracking and notification capabilities so teams can quickly respond to outages or anomalies. Overall, the platform serves as a comprehensive, developer-friendly alternative to commercial uptime and infrastructure monitoring tools.

    FiniteDifferences.jl

High accuracy derivatives, estimated via numerical finite differences

FiniteDifferences.jl estimates derivatives with finite differences. See also the Python package FDM. FiniteDiff.jl and FiniteDifferences.jl are similar libraries: both calculate approximate derivatives numerically. You should definitely use one or the other, rather than the legacy Calculus.jl finite differencing, or reimplementing it yourself. At some point in the future, they might merge, or one might depend on the other.
