JET is tightly coupled to the Julia compiler, and so each JET release supports a limited range of Julia versions. See the Project.toml file for the range of supported Julia versions. ...The advantage to this is that it provides a consistent API for block arrays. Secondly, it also implements two different types of block arrays that follow the AbstractBlockArray interface. The type BlockArray stores each block contiguously while the type PseudoBlockArray stores the full matrix contiguously. This means that BlockArray supports fast noncopying extraction and insertion of blocks while PseudoBlockArray supports fast access to the full matrix to use in for example a linear solver. -

This package provides a macro-based implementation of traits, using Tim Holy's trait trick. The main idea behind traits is to group types outside the type-hierarchy and to make dispatch work with that grouping. The difference to Union-types is that types can be added to a trait after the creation of the trait, whereas Union types are fixed after creation. The cool thing about Tim's trick is that there is no performance impact compared to using ordinary dispatch. FiniteDifferences.jl estimates derivatives with finite differences. See also the Python package FDM. FiniteDiff.jl and FiniteDifferences.jl are similar libraries: both calculate approximate derivatives numerically. You should definitely use one or the other, rather than the legacy Calculus.jl finite differencing, or reimplementing it yourself. At some point in the future, they might merge, or one might depend on the other.
