    XLSX.jl

    XLSX.jl

Excel file reader and writer for the Julia language

XLSX.jl is a Julia package to read and write Excel spreadsheet files. Internally, an Excel XLSX file is just a Zip file with a set of XML files inside. The formats for these XML files are described in the Standard ECMA-376. This package follows the EMCA-376 to parse and generate XLSX files.

    FileTrees.jl

    FileTrees.jl

    Parallel file processing made easy

Easy everyday parallelism with a file tree abstraction. Read a directory structure as a Julia data structure, (lazy-)load the files, apply map and reduce operations on the data while not exceeding available memory if possible. Make up a file tree in memory, create some data to go with each file (in parallel), write the tree to disk (in parallel). FileTrees is a set of tools to lazy-load, process and save file trees.

    JLD2

    JLD2

HDF5-compatible file format in pure Julia

JLD2 saves and loads Julia data structures in a format comprising a subset of HDF5, without any dependency on the HDF5 C library. JLD2 is able to read most HDF5 files created by other HDF5 implementations supporting HDF5 File Format Specification Version 3.0 (i.e. libhdf5 1.10 or later) and similarly, those should be able to read the files that JLD2 produces. JLD2 provides read-only support for files created with the JLD package. The save and load functions, provided by FileIO, provide a mechanism to read and write data from a JLD2 file. To use these functions, you may either write using FileIO or using JLD2. ...

    JDF.jl

    JDF.jl

    Julia DataFrames serialization format

JDF is a DataFrames serialization format with the following goals, fast save and load times, compressed storage on disk, enabled disk-based data manipulation (not yet achieved), and support for machine learning workloads, e.g. mini-batch, sampling (not yet achieved). JDF stores a DataFrame in a folder with each column stored as a separate file. There is also a metadata.jls file that stores metadata about the original DataFrame. Collectively, the column files, the metadata file, and the folder is called a JDF "file". JDF.jl is a pure-Julia solution and there are a lot of ways to do nifty things like compression and encapsulating the underlying struture of the arrays that's hard to do in R and Python. ...

    HDF5.jl

    HDF5.jl

Save and load data in the HDF5 file format from Julia

HDF5 stands for Hierarchical Data Format v5 and is closely modeled on file systems. In HDF5, a "group" is analogous to a directory, a "dataset" is like a file. HDF5 also uses "attributes" to associate metadata with a particular group or dataset. HDF5 uses ASCII names for these different objects, and objects can be accessed by Unix-like pathnames, e.g., "/sample1/tempsensor/firsttrial" for a top-level group "sample1", a subgroup "tempsensor", and a dataset "firsttrial". ...

    Literate

    Literate

Simple package for literate programming in Julia

...The main purpose is to facilitate writing Julia examples/tutorials that can be included in your package documentation. Literate can generate markdown pages (for e.g. Documenter.jl), and Jupyter notebooks, from the same source file. There is also an option to "clean" the source from all metadata, and produce a pure Julia script. Using a single source file for multiple purposes reduces maintenance, and makes sure your different output formats are synced with each other.

    JET.jl

    JET.jl

An experimental code analyzer for Julia

JET employs Julia's type inference system to detect potential bugs and type instabilities. JET is tightly coupled to the Julia compiler, and so each JET release supports a limited range of Julia versions. See the Project.toml file for the range of supported Julia versions. The Julia package manager should install a version of JET compatible with the Julia version you are running. If you want to use JET on unreleased version of Julia where compatibility with JET is yet unknown, clone this git repository and dev it, such that Julia compatibility is ignored.

    Automa.jl

    Automa.jl

A julia code generator for regular expressions

Automa is a regex-to-Julia compiler. By compiling regex to Julia code in the form of Expr objects, Automa provides facilities to create efficient and robust regex-based lexers, tokenizers and parsers using Julia's metaprogramming capabilities. You can view Automa as a regex engine that can insert arbitrary Julia code into its input-matching process, which will be executed when certain parts of the regex match an input.

    PGFPlotsX.jl

    PGFPlotsX.jl

Plots in Julia using the PGFPlots LaTeX package

PGFPlotsX is a Julia package to generate publication quality figures using the LaTeX library PGFPlots. It is similar in spirit to the package PGFPlots.jl but it tries to have a very close mapping to the PGFPlots API as well as minimize the number of dependencies. The fact that the syntax is similar to the TeX version means that examples from Stack Overflow and the PGFPlots manual can easily be incorporated in the Julia code.
