libCEED provides fast algebra for element-based discretizations, designed for performance portability, run-time flexibility, and clean embedding in higher-level libraries and applications. It offers a C99 interface as well as bindings for Fortran, Python, Julia, and Rust. While our focus is on high-order finite elements, the approach is mostly algebraic and thus applicable to other discretizations in factored form, as explained in the user manual and API implementation portion of the documentation. FractalNow provides users with tools to generate pictures of various types of fractals quickly and easily. It is made of both a command line tool, FractalNow, and a graphical tool, QFractalNow. The graphical tool, based on Qt library, allows users to explore fractals intuitively and generate pictures. Both tools are entirely multi-threaded and implement advanced algorithms and heuristics that make computation very fast compared to most existing free fractal generators.

Mandel is a command-line program for generating Mandelbrot set fractals - support for Julia sets is coming soon. Output is in the form of 8 bit greyscale Device Independent Bitmaps, which can be readily viewed with many common graphics programs.
