Clone with Python! Data structures for double stranded DNA

Clone with Python! Data structures for double stranded DNA & simulation of homologous recombination, Gibson assembly, cut & paste cloning. Planning genetic constructs with many parts and assembly steps, such as recombinant metabolic pathways, are often difficult to properly document as is evident from the poor state of documentation in the scientific literature. The pydna python package provide a human-readable formal description of cloning and genetic assembly strategies in Python which allow for simulation and verification. ...

    GMOL

    GMOL

A tool for 3D genome structure visualization

GMOL is an application designed to visualize genome structure in 3D. It allows users to view the genome structure at multiple scales, including: global, chromosome, loci, fiber, nucleosome, and nucleotide. This software was built upon the pre-existing Jmol package by Prof. Cheng's group. The software is developed in Prof. Jianlin Cheng's Bioinformatics, Data Mining and Machine Learning Laboratory in the Computer Science Department at the University of Missouri - Columbia, USA. MusicDNA

Experience your favorite music in a unique way

MusicDNA is a music player unlike any other. It is an Android music player that renders beautiful DNA (visualization) of the currently playing music. It does this through the use of the Visualizer Class, and is inspired by paullewis's music-dna. It uses the FFT Data supplied by the Visualizer class of Android , calculating the Amplitude at that exact moment and using this to plot the DNA. MusicDNA fuses the functionality of traditional music players with stunning visualizations. ...

    ADOMA
...ADOMA can create four different displays of a multiple sequence alignment: a ClustalW alignment in HTML format, a simplified ClustalW alignment in HTML and/or txt format and a colored ClustalW alignment in HTML format. For examples of these outputfiles check the screenshots. ADOMA uses ClustalW to create the multiple alignment from DNA or protein sequences and displays them slightly different than the normal output of ClustalW. ADOMA is a commandline program that can easily be used in pipelines. For more information check the README.md in the Files section. How to cite ADOMA: Zaal, D. and Nota, B. (2016), ADOMA: A Command Line Tool to Modify ClustalW Multiple Alignment Output. ...
