This package provides the ability to encode Golang structs to a buffer as JSON. Buffer is a simple custom buffer type that complies with io.Writer. Its main benefit is that it has a pooling built-in. This goes a long way to helping make jingo fast by reducing its allocations and ensuring good write speeds. When you create an instance of an encoder it recursively generates an instruction set that defines how to iteratively encode your structs. This gives it the ability to provide a clear API but with the same benefits as a build-time optimized encoder. It's almost exclusively able to do all types of assertions and reflection activity during the compile, then makes ample use of the unsafe package during the instruction-set execution (the Marshal call) to make reading and writing very fast.

JsQuery is a language to query jsonb data type, introduced in PostgreSQL release 9.4. It's primary goal is to provide an additional functionality to jsonb (currently missing in PostgreSQL), such as a simple and effective way to search in nested objects and arrays, and more comparison operators with indexes support. We hope, that jsquery will be eventually a part of PostgreSQL. JsQuery is realized as an extension and is not available in the default PostgreSQL installation. It is available from GitHub under the same license as PostgreSQL and supports PostgreSQL 9.4+.

The framework parses textual JSON document to nodes tree that represents JSON entity: object, array or value of primitive type. Generated tree allows to modify values of nodes and/or structure of the given JSON document. Representation of JSON object as a nodes tree allows implement an operations such as path query and transformations (like XPATH and XSLT for XML).
