    tqdm

    tqdm

A Fast, Extensible Progress Bar for Python and CLI

...Just by inserting tqdm (or python -m tqdm) between pipes will pass through all stdin to stdout while printing progress to stderr. tqdm does not require any dependencies, has a very low overhead and uses smart algorithms to predict the remaining time and skip unnecessary iteration displays. It works on just about any platform, console or in a GUI, as well as IPython/Jupyter notebooks.

    simdjson

    simdjson

Parsing gigabytes of JSON per second

JSON is everywhere on the Internet. Servers spend a *lot* of time parsing it. We need a fresh approach. The simdjson library uses commonly available SIMD instructions and microparallel algorithms to parse JSON 4x faster than RapidJSON and 25x faster than JSON for Modern C++. The simdjson library uses three-quarters less instructions than state-of-the-art parser RapidJSON. To our knowledge, simdjson is the first fully-validating JSON parser to run at gigabytes per second (GB/s) on commodity processors. It can parse millions of JSON documents per second on a single core.

    Miller

    Miller

Miller is like awk, sed, cut, join, and sort for name-indexed data

Miller is like awk, sed, cut, join, and sort for data formats such as CSV, TSV, JSON, JSON Lines, and positionally-indexed. With Miller, you get to use named fields without needing to count positional indices, using familiar formats such as CSV, TSV, JSON, JSON Lines, and positionally-indexed. Then, on the fly, you can add new fields which are functions of existing fields, drop fields, sort, aggregate statistically, pretty-print, and more. Miller operates on key-value-pair data while the...

    pseudocode.js

    pseudocode.js

    Beautiful pseudocode for the Web

...With or without LaTeX experience, a user should find the grammar fairly intuitive. The HTML output produced by pseudocode.js is (almost) identical to the pretty algorithms printed on publications that are typeset by LaTeX. Inserting math formulas in pseudocode.js is as easy as LaTeX. Just enclose the math expression in $...$ or \(...\).

    Base62 Encode/Decode Utility

    Base62 Encode/Decode Utility

    A tool for encoding/decoding to base62

the package chewingum contains two main programs: - base62 - chew They have been implemented in perl. Base62 has been coded in c++ too. chew has been written to shorten long decimal integer numbers into base62 strings. It's not a mere base conversion, because it doesn't use arithmetic inside its logic. In this way it can convert very long numbers into strings quickly, without overflows. For example if I want to share an id using an url, this will make the url shorter. the...

    DeepLearningProject

    An in-depth machine learning tutorial

...The dataset is not one of the standard sets like MNIST or CIFAR, you will make you very own dataset. Then you will go through a couple conventional machine learning algorithms, before finally getting to deep learning! In the fall of 2016, I was a Teaching Fellow (Harvard's version of TA) for the graduate class on "Advanced Topics in Data Science (CS209/109)" at Harvard University. I was in charge of designing the class project given to the students, and this tutorial has been built on top of the project I designed for the class.
