The PUMA Repository is a collection of Pascal units for medical informatics. It contains reusable source code for a wide field of health-care application development. The code includes a support engine for the European Data Format (EDF and EDF+), converting functions for units of measurement and an HL7 engine. PUMA is compatible with Lazarus and Free Pascal. Some of the units also support other Pascal implementations including Delphi, winsoft Pocket Studio and other compilers.

dompdf - the PHP 5 HTML to PDF converter. dompdf is a (mostly) CSS compliant HTML rendering engine written in PHP. It supports external stylesheets, inline style tags, and the style attributes of individual HTML elements. Requires PHP 5.

metaf2xml can download, parse and decode aviation routine weather reports (METAR, SPECI, SAO), aerodrome forecasts (TAF), synoptic observations (SYNOP), observations from buoys (BUOY) and meteorological reports from aircrafts (AMDAR). Data can also be taken from decoded BUFR messages. The extracted data can be written as XML or passed to a user-defined function (all done in Perl). It also provides XSLT style sheets to convert the XML to plain language (text, HTML), or XML with different schemas. A web-based (CGI) user interface can be used to download and display up-to-date weather data from NOAA, Ogimet, and other sources.

A really wonderful software to visualise and analyse GPS traces in many different ways (speed and elevation variation, etc.), with different background maps (hiking map, road map, orienteering map, aerial image, cycling map, etc.). It is possible to make KML exports.

csv2odf can create business intelligence reports from csv data sources with output to ods, odt, html, xlsx, or docx documents. It uses a template file that you design to control the layout, fonts, and colors. Just query your database with output to csv (or tsv), then use csv2odf to insert the data into your template to produce a nice looking formatted output. It is a command line tool and you can automate the generation of reports by using scripts and cron. It can be used to create spreadsheets and documents for LibreOffice, OpenOffice, Microsoft Office Excel and Word. the package chewingum contains two main programs: - base62 - chew They have been implemented in perl. Base62 has been coded in c++ too. chew has been written to shorten long decimal integer numbers into base62 strings. It's not a mere base conversion, because it doesn't use arithmetic inside its logic. In this way it can convert very long numbers into strings quickly, without overflows. For example if I want to share an id using an url, this will make the url shorter. the base62 program has been written to encode/decode files into this format. The syntax is similar to the popular base64 command line program. Inside the package there is a working c++ version of the base62 algorithm. the sources are inside the package. Note that from release 2.0.0 the algorithm is different from the one used before. If you have coded a file using base62 < 2.0.0 DO NOT USE base62 >= 2.0.0 to decode it.
