...ShadowsocksX-NG was created separately from the original implementation as there had been too much unused code and dependencies of the ss-local source code in the original that had to be maintained. As such it was difficult to update. ShadowsocksX-NG has just a copy of ss-local from Homebrew, and its GUI code has been rewritten in Swift. It now runs as a background service rather than an in-app process, so the ss-local may still be running even after you quit the app. ShadowsocksX-NG also has an added manual mode so you can configure your apps to use the socks5 proxy manually without configuring the system proxy settings.

Encryption/Decryption demonstration app using the S-DES algorithm. Use the Java runtime environment 11 for execution. The GUI pops up that allows entering a 10-bit encryption/decryption key in binary (0, 1 digits) and the plaintext/ciphertext in the same form (8-bit). Executing the algorithm, decription of the encoding/decoding functionality is provided in the three main text boxes.

This package is a modest implementation of a non-alphanumeric encryption algorithm in java. But I'm kinda looking forward to creating a whole gui app implementing most well-known encryption tools, "the paranoid secret-coder special brainkiller"!
