AUM is an extremely fast, small-state, cryptographically secure pseudo-random number generator and stream cipher. AUM exhibits uniform distribution, mixes rapidly, has no detected bias, and comes in three variants: AUM16, with an internal state array of 16+4 32-bit words; AUM32, with an internal state of 32+4 words; and AUM64 with a 64+4-word state. The former permit seeding with a key of up to 512 or 1024 bits, the latter with a 2048-bit key. -

The AWS Encryption SDK for C is a client-side encryption library designed to make it easy for everyone to encrypt and decrypt data using industry standards and best practices. It uses a data format compatible with the AWS Encryption SDKs in other languages. For more information on the AWS Encryption SDKs in all languages, see the Developer Guide. We will demonstrate some simple build recipes for Linux, Mac, and Windows operating systems. These recipes assume a newly installed system with default installs of dependency packages. The Windows instructions install everything in your current directory (where you run the build process). The AWS Encryption SDK for C can be used with AWS KMS, but it is not required. For best results when doing a build with AWS KMS integration, do not install aws-c-common directly. Build and install the AWS SDK for C++, which will build and install aws-c-common for you (see the C++ SDK dependencies here). -

To build, the AWS Encryption SDK requires the most up-to-date version of dafny on your PATH. In addition, this project uses the parallel verification tasks provided by the dafny.msbuild MSBuild plugin, and thus requires dotnet 3.0. The tests currently require native implementations of cryptographic primitives and other methods, so they can only be run when embedding this library into one of the compilation target languages supported by Dafny. This repo uses Duvet to directly document the specification alongside this implementation. Refer to the specification for how to install duvet in order to generate reports. By default duvet_report will extract the spec only if it cannot find the compliance directory in the specification repo, but will re-use a previous extraction if it exists. -

The Amazon DynamoDB Encryption Client for Python provides client-side encryption of Amazon DynamoDB items to help you to protect your table data before you send it to DynamoDB. It provides an implementation of the Amazon DynamoDB Encryption Client that is fully compatible with the Amazon DynamoDB Encryption Client for Java. The helper clients provide a familiar interface but the actual item encryption and decryption is handled by a low-level item encryptor. You usually will not need to interact with these low-level functions, but for certain advanced use cases it can be useful. If you do choose to use the item encryptor functions directly, you will need to provide a CryptoConfig for each call. By default, the helper clients use your attribute actions and cryptographic materials provider to build the CryptoConfig that is provided to the item encryptor. For some advanced use cases, you might want to provide a custom CryptoConfig for specific operations. -

Azrar
Encryption addressing long-term data secrecy
Most of today's cryptographic standards will be broken with tomorrow's computational power. Azrar is a user-friendly tool for the encryption/decryption of single files - preferably compressed archives - addressing long-term data secrecy. Thus, Azrar provides the possibility to use webspace for secure data transfer between two communication/transfer partners (encryption only, network transfer not yet included in current version). Data in encrypted files are secret/private indefinitely. To achieve long-term data secrecy, Azrar differs from other approaches in terms of not to rely on effective computational deficiencies. It combines a one-time pad with a stream cipher method using the strong cryptographic hash function (family) Skein. Azrar fulfills business requirements for secure data transfer and supports several operating systems natively. It does not use a runtime environment. -

BEDBUG is a small, fast, cryptographically secure pseudo-random number generator (CSPRNG) and stream cipher. It exhibits uniform distribution, mixes rapidly (with worst-case avalanche better than 16-bits), has no detected bias, and comes in three variants: BEDBUG128, with an internal state array of 128+3 32-bit words; BEDBUG256, with an internal state of 256+3 words; and BEDBUG512 with a 512+3-word state. The former permit seeding with a key of up to 4096 or 8192 bits, the latter with a 16384-bit key. The BEDBUG generator itself is a mere 5 lines of code: Three rotations; two pseudo-random lookups. The default BEDBUG configuration alternates the rotation constants unpredictably. These four sets of three values differ between BEDBUG128, BEDBUG256 and BEDBUG512 and were selected, tuned and tested in each case for optimal avalanche, which is never less than 16.5 bits. BEDBUG has passed stringent industry-standard tests for randomness, including NIST and DIEHARD. -
