    No Coin

    No Coin

No Coin is a tiny browser extension aiming to block coin miners

No coin is a tiny browser extension aiming to block coin miners such as Coinhive. Even though I think using coin mining in browser to monetize content is a great idea, abusing it is not. Some websites are running it during the entire browsing session which results in high consumption of your computer's resources. I do believe that using it occasionally such as for the proof of work of a captcha is OK. But for an entire browsing session, the user should have the choice to opt-in which is the aim of this extension. The idea was to keep it separate from adblocking. Coin mining in the browser is a different issue. Where ads are tracking you and visually interfering with your browsing experience, coin mining, if abused, is eating your computer resources resulting in slow downs (from high CPU usage) and excessive power consumption. You might be OK with that and not with ads, or vice versa. Or you might just want to keep ads blocked entirely and just enable the coin mining script.

    riecoin

    riecoin

    riecoin cryptocurrency

Riecoin is a decentralized (p2p), open source digital currency. It allows to transfer money to anywhere in the world with only minimum transaction fees, sometimes even for free. It is a fork of the Bitcoin project. The name "Riecoin" pays homage to Bernhard Riemann, whose work generated new ways of studying the distribution of prime numbers and is referenced in the math of Riecoin. It also pays homage to Bitcoin, the cryptocurrency that started them all. rminerd cpuminer is a multi-threaded, highly optimized CPU miner for Riecoin. It still has support for Litecoin, Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. Currently supported algorithms are RIECOIN style prime sextuplets, SHA-256d and scrypt(1024, 1, 1). It supports the getwork mining protocol as well as the Stratum mining protocol, and can be used for both solo and pooled mining. Notice: Please see here to understand why this package is recognized as a threat by some antivirus software: https://github.com/pooler/cpuminer/issues/13

    uqoin-client

CLI tool for Uqoin network access and coin mining.

uqoin-client is a command-line tool for interacting with the Uqoin blockchain network. It allows users to send and receive transactions, manage their wallet, and participate in client-side mining directly from the terminal. The client is lightweight, efficient, and written entirely in Rust for maximum performance and security. It supports both Ubuntu and Windows platforms and is suitable for both power users and developers who want direct access to the Uqoin protocol. The tool uses Ed25519-based cryptography and supports mining via CPU. It is a core part of the Uqoin ecosystem, which aims to provide fair and decentralized money without giving unfair advantages to early adopters.
