    The AVR-Ada project provides the gcc based Ada compiler GNAT for the AVR 8-bit microcontrollers. This includes: - the Ada compiler - the Ada run time system and the AVR support library - documentation and some sample programs. It is intended that releases will allow the development of proprietary software (by the use of the GCC Runtime Library exception for project-developed code, and by only using manufacturer’s software where the same permission applies).
