    Kueue

    Kueue

    Kubernetes-native Job Queueing

Kueue is a set of APIs and controllers for job queueing. It is a job-level manager that decides when a job should be admitted to start (as in pods can be created) and when it should stop (as in active pods should be deleted). Use Kueue to build a multi-tenant batch service with quotas and a hierarchy for sharing resources among teams in your organization. Based on the available quotas, Kueue decides when jobs should wait and when and where they should run. Docker tools

    Docker tools

Useful tools when you are running your project inside docker container

Running a DNS service for docker containers always messes with the DNS settings of your workstation. Especially if these DNS/discovery services themselves run inside docker containers on an active development workstation. Resolving DNS issues is not an easy task. Contrary to that the hosts file is simple. The script first removes all existing entries of all the hostnames of containers created by docker-compose. Configure the environment variables in your .env file. That way it can be used by docker-compose as well (DRY).

Deploy and manage containers (including Docker) on top of Apache Mesos

...Marathon is a production-grade container orchestration platform for Mesosphere’s Datacenter Operating System (DC/OS) and Apache Mesos. Marathon can bind persistent storage volumes to your application. You can run databases like MySQL and Postgres, and have storage accounted for by Mesos. Supply an HTTP endpoint to receive notifications, for example to integrate with an external load balancer. Query them at /metrics in JSON format, push them to systems like Graphite, StatsD and DataDog, or scrape them using Prometheus.
