Python implementation of the Dual N-Back mental exercise
Brain Workshop is a Python implementation of the Dual N-Back mental exercise. This exercise is the only mental activity that has been scientifically shown to improve your short-term memory (working memory) and fluid intelligence.
...The application plays the notes aloud as they pass under the centerline of the application window. So you adjust the scrolling speed and time between new notes and then play each note before the application echos it back to you. It also scrolls guitar tablature, as can be seen in the video.
The keyboard and guitar models are linked so that playing a note on the piano keyboard (clicking a key) causes the guitar neck to display all the locations of the same note on the guitar neck.

Revisaid allows you to enter information, including image files, then quizzes you on what you have entered. These quizzes can be saved for future use, and passed on to friends who may also find them useful.
It is currently supported on Windows and Linux 2.6+, but in theory should work on any machine with a Python interpreter (and wxPython) installed.
