Open Source Java ME Computer Aided Instruction (CAI) Software

Flute Listening Quiz is a Java ME program that runs at mobile phone. It provides listening quiz for the flute beginners and train the listening ability of a beginner. It also helps beginner to memorize the finger chart within the training mode.

This is a mobile application for learning scales and arpeggios on the guitar. The main selling point is that the application has the intelligence built-in to organize scales and arpeggios into box patterns (and other patterns, too, later on).

This project was designed for a reserach conducted in the area of mobile science inqiury using ontologies. This mobile web application 'ThinknLearn' uses ontology-based scaffolding to implement NCEA level 1science standard curriculum example as an experimental context. In this application, ontologies are designed using Protege 4.0 while Jena API and Pellet reasoner are used in the technical architecture of this application for extracting relevant information according to the requirements.
