SMUF, or Single Multi-User Forth, is a Forth-based compiler/interpreter based loosely on the MUF language available in MUCK servers such as ProtoMUCK or Fuzzball.

A new system programming language designed to occupy the same niche C is currently holding, that allows for easier development of large platform-independent systems. The aims are to: * Keep all of C's system programming strengths. * Be as efficient as C (at run-time) and as high-level as possible for the programmer. * Promote modularity and ease the development of large-scale component-based software. * Enable programming-by-contract and other high-level features (as long as they incur no extraordinary costs at run-time). * Provide a stricter and more platform-independent type system than C. * Allow direct use of existing C and platform (e.g. Win32 API) libraries. This phrase from the "SPL Language Reference" says it all: "One could say SPL is what C should have been, were it not for the limitations of the time when C was designed".

This is a project to create a compiler that converts grammars written in SRGS standard (http://www.w3.org/TR/speech-grammar/) to a graph understandable by HMM based ASR engines. Check srgs-parser.sf.net

"Sally - A Simple C++ IDE" is a simple development environment for WindowsXP or upper. The program is written in the C# programming language, and requires the Framework .Net 1.1 to run. It might work on Win98 or ME, but it has not been tested yet.

With Scaladex, a developer can now query more than 175,000 releases of Scala libraries. Scaladex is officially supported by Scala Center. In Scala, functions are values, and can be defined as anonymous functions with a concise syntax. In Scala, case classes are used to represent structural data types.

Scala Native is an optimizing ahead-of-time compiler and lightweight managed runtime designed specifically for Scala. Pointers, structs, you name it. Low-level primitives let you hand-tune your application to make it work exactly as you want it to. You’re in control. Calling C code has never been easier. With the help of extern objects you can seamlessly call native code without any runtime overhead. Scala Native is compiled ahead of time via LLVM. This means that there is no sluggish warm-up phase that’s common for just-in-time compilers. Your code is immediately fast and ready for action. Scala Native requires Clang, which is part of the LLVM toolchain. The recommended LLVM version is the most recent available for your system provided that it works with Scala Native. Scala Native uses the Immix garbage collector by default. You can use the Boehm garbage collector instead. If you chose to use that alternate garbage collector both the native library and header files must be provided.

Schism is an experimental compiler that translates Scheme programs into WebAssembly, allowing Scheme code to execute in both browser environments and server platforms like Node.js. Developed initially by Google researchers, the project was designed to explore the intersection of functional programming and WebAssembly’s low-level efficiency. Schism supports a subset of the R6RS Scheme standard and is self-hosting, meaning that the compiler itself is written in and compiled by Schism. Its architecture demonstrates advanced compiler design techniques such as staged compilation and snapshot-based bootstrapping. The project focuses on leveraging WebAssembly’s experimental capabilities, including reference types and tail calls, to test the limits of language portability and runtime performance. Though no longer actively maintained, Schism remains a valuable example of how high-level languages can be mapped to WebAssembly and offers insights into language implementation.

That's why I decided to start a new repository here. Patches are welcome!

MIPS compiler

A script(ing/ed/able) optimizing compiler for the C and Objective-C languages (and in the future other languages such as C++, D and Java). Written in a scripting language to allow for experimentation with code generation and optimization techniques.

This is a framework for the creation of dynamic scripting languages on the .NET platform. Static typing, type inference, and true derivation from .NET classes are also planned. Two projects built on this are Boa and NetLisp. It is a work in progress.

Compiler and interpreter for the Scriptol programming language. Scriptol is object oriented and the first language to use XML as data structure in sources. It is easy to learn and safe. Also, RSS readers in PHP, an RSS feed editor.
