    GopherJS compiles Go code to pure JavaScript code. Its main purpose is to give you the opportunity to write front-end code in Go which will still run in all browsers. Nearly everything is supported, including Goroutines (compatibility documentation). Performance is quite good in most cases, see HTML5 game engine benchmark. Cgo is not supported. GopherJS requires Go 1.16 or newer. If you need an older Go version, you can use an older Gopher release. GopherJS uses your platform's default GOOS value when generating code. Supported GOOS values are: linux, darwin. If you're on a different platform (e.g., Windows or FreeBSD), you'll need to set the GOOS environment variable to a supported value. gopherjs serve is a useful command you can use during development. It will start an HTTP server serving on ":8080" by default, then dynamically compile your Go packages with GopherJS and serve them.

    All releases prior to and including LLVM8 are signed using this PGP Key from Naville. Verifiable on his Keybase. Security is not now, and will never be based purely on Obscurity. The "Security Companies" might say so to sell more of their products. But no, binary obfuscation won't magically fix all your exploits and bugs, (If not introducing more). Designing an Obfuscator is hard, and keeping the source open definitely leaks the pattern to crackers which could potentially make the crackers' life easier if they have the right skillset. While every reasonable attempt has been made in Hikari to reduce such patterns from appearing, however, with overkill weapons like symbolic execution, binary obfuscation can still be defeated much easier, even so-called VM-based obfuscation. DOI 10.1145/2991079.2991114 explained this in great detail. I would implement a few anti-SE mechanisms in the future in an attempt to cause (even) more trouble to attackers, though.

    Hy is a multi-paradigm general-purpose programming language in the Lisp family. It’s implemented as a kind of alternative syntax for Python. Compared to Python, Hy offers a variety of extra features, generalizations, and syntactic simplifications, as would be expected of a Lisp. Compared to other Lisps, Hy provides direct access to Python’s built-ins and third-party Python libraries, while allowing you to freely mix imperative, functional, and object-oriented styles of programming. The first thing a Python programmer will notice about Hy is that it has Lisp’s traditional parenthesis-heavy prefix syntax in place of Python’s C-like infix syntax. As in other Lisps, the value of a simplistic syntax is that it facilitates Lisp’s signature feature, metaprogramming through macros, which are functions that manipulate code objects at compile-time to produce new code objects, which are then executed as if they had been part of the original code.

    Julia is, in general, a "just-barely-ahead-of-time" compiled language. When you call a function for the first time, Julia compiles it for precisely the types of arguments given. This can take some time. All subsequent calls within that same session use this fast compiled function, but if you restart Julia you lose all the compiled work. PackageCompiler allows you to do this work upfront — further ahead of time — and store the results for a lower latency startup. You can save loaded packages and compiled functions into a file (called a sysimage) that you pass to Julia upon startup. Typically the goal is to reduce latency on your machine; for example, you could load the packages and compile the functions used in common plotting workflows using that saved image by default. In general, sysimages are not relocatable to other machines; they'll only work on the machine they were created on.

    A CSS parser, transformer, and minifier written in Rust. Parsing and minifying large files are completed in milliseconds, often with significantly smaller output than other tools. Many other CSS parsers treat property values as an untyped series of tokens. This means that each transformer that wants to do something with these values must interpret them itself, leading to duplicate work and inconsistencies. @parcel/css parses all values using the grammar from the CSS specification and exposes a specific value type for each property. Built on the cssparser and selectors crates created by Mozilla and used by Firefox and Servo. These provide a solid general-purpose CSS-parsing foundation on top of which @parcel/css implements support for all specific CSS rules and properties. One of the main purposes of @parcel/css is to minify CSS to make it smaller. This includes many optimizations.

    Gluon is a static, type inferred and embeddable language written in Rust. Gluon is a small, statically-typed, functional programming language designed for application embedding. Static typing makes it easier to write safe and efficient interfaces between gluon and the host application. Type inference ensures that types rarely have to be written explicitly giving all the benefits of static types with none of the typing. Marshalling values to and from gluon requires next to no boilerplate, allowing functions defined in Rust to be directly passed to gluon. Gluon supports Unicode out of the box with utf-8 encoded strings and Unicode codepoints as characters. Gluon is a garbage-collected language but uses a separate heap for each executing gluon thread. This keeps each heap small, reducing the overhead of the garbage collector. Gluon is written in Rust, which guarantees thread safety. Gluon keeps the same guarantees, allowing multiple gluon programs to run in parallel.
