PyInstaller is a program that converts (packages) Python programs into stand-alone executables, under Windows, Linux, Mac OS X, AIX and Solaris. Its main advantages over similar tools are that PyInstaller works with any version of Python since 2.3, it builds smaller executables thanks to transparent compression, it is fully multi-platform, and uses the OS support to load the dynamic libraries, thus ensuring full compatibility. The main goal of PyInstaller is to be compatible with 3rd-party packages out-of-the-box. This means that, with PyInstaller, all the required tricks to make external packages work are already integrated within PyInstaller itself so that there is no user intervention required. You'll never be required to look for tricks in wikis and apply custom modification to your files or your setup scripts. As an example, libraries like PyQt, Django or matplotlib are fully supported, without having to handle plugins or external data files manually.

Babel is a toolchain that helps you write code in the latest version of JavaScript. It converts ECMAScript 2015+ code into a backwards compatible version of JavaScript that can be run by older JavaScript engines. With Babel you can transform syntax, polyfill features that are missing in your target environment, transform source code and more!

MLton is a whole-program optimizing compiler for Standard ML. MLton generates small executables with excellent runtime performance, utilizing untagged and unboxed native integers, reals, and words, unboxed native arrays, fast arbitrary-precision arithmetic based on GnuMP, and multiple code generation and garbage collection strategies. In addition, MLton provides a feature rich Standard ML programming environment, with full support for SML97 as given in The Definition of Standard ML (Revised), a number of useful language extensions, a complete implementation of the Standard ML Basis Library, various useful libraries, a simple and fast C foreign function interface, the ML Basis system for programming with source libraries, and tools such as a lexer generator, a parser generator, and a profiler.

This project currently provides the GNAT Studio Ada development environment, packaged for macOS. nwcc is a C compiler for Unix systems targeting *BSD, OSX, Linux and Solaris on x86 (nasm/gas), FreeBSD, OSX and Linux on AMD64 (yasm/gas), Solaris on SPARC, AIX and Linux on PPC/PPC64 and IRIX on MIPS64. Cross-compilation is supported.

The Jikes Research Virtual Machine (RVM) is designed to execute Java(TM) programs that are typically used in research on fundamental virtual machine design issues.

LLVM is a unique compiler infrastructure designed for the optimization of programs from arbitrary programming languages. Compilation in C and C++ programs is supported using a parser based on GCC 3.4. Backends exist for X86, Sparc, PowerPC and "C".

cstem is a portable toolkit for probing and testing C/C++ system. It consist of 4 scripts: cprobe, cltest, cppdef, mkdep. cstem scripts can be used standalone or as part of software build systems. All scripts are portable and have no dependencies. See wiki for more information and examples.
