After a program has been thrown into the world in binary form, it can boomerang back as source code. The Boomerang reverse engineering framework is the first general native executable decompiler available to the public.

MLton is a whole-program optimizing compiler for Standard ML. MLton generates small executables with excellent runtime performance, utilizing untagged and unboxed native integers, reals, and words, unboxed native arrays, fast arbitrary-precision arithmetic based on GnuMP, and multiple code generation and garbage collection strategies. In addition, MLton provides a feature rich Standard ML programming environment, with full support for SML97 as given in The Definition of Standard ML (Revised), a number of useful language extensions, a complete implementation of the Standard ML Basis Library, various useful libraries, a simple and fast C foreign function interface, the ML Basis system for programming with source libraries, and tools such as a lexer generator, a parser generator, and a profiler.

chibicc is a small yet highly capable C compiler designed to implement most features of the C11 standard while maintaining a clean and educational codebase. It is intended as both a functional compiler and a learning resource, allowing developers to understand how compilers work by reading and studying its implementation. Despite being categorized as a “toy” compiler, it is powerful enough to compile real-world programs such as Git, SQLite, and libpng without modification. The project is structured incrementally, with each commit representing a step in building a full compiler, making it particularly valuable for educational purposes. It includes support for advanced C features such as floating-point types, variable-length arrays, thread-local storage, and atomic operations. Chibicc also provides clear error messages, helping developers understand compilation issues more effectively.

SableCC is a parser generator which generates object-oriented frameworks for building compilers, interpreters and other text parsers. SableCC keeps a clean separation between machine and user code which leads to a shorter development cycle.

Interactive C is a stripped down version of the C language, primarily used for robotics projects. It supports various small-scale robotics boards, with a plug-in system for development for new boards.

The purpose of this project is to create and update a beginners guide to FreeBASIC. Over the years I have noticed that there was only three real ways to learn FreeBASIC. The FreeBASIC Documentation, the FreeBASIC Community Forum, and A old beginners guide written by Richard D. Clark and Ebben Feagan. Each of these sources are great, but they all assume some experience with a programming language. This Project is taking Richard D. Clark's and Ebben Feagan's "A Beginner's Guide to FreeBasic" and is editing, updating, reorganizing, and simplifying this guide. Mr. Clark and Mr. Feagan generously open sourced there guide so I could start this project. Without being able to stand on their shoulders I could not have even started this project.
