A very simple software that bidirectionally forwards COM (serial) communication through a TCP/IP connection.
Typical application: you want to use 2 devices (that are connected to each other using RS232 protocol), remotely. With this software you'll be able to operate them in different locations.
Act as TCP server / TCP Client.

Acid is a generalized internet/network client, using "pluggable protocol" libraries to add support for connection protocols. In addition to the Acid application, this project is developing Hotline, FTP, and other pluggable protocol libraries.
libAim makes using AOL Instant Messangers TOC Protocol a snap. It features the ability to not only connect, but to send/recieve Instant Messages, create and maintain buddy lists, block, and warn. All this is wrapped up in one easy to use library.
Currently all the samples are included in the Noir release found at http://sf.net/projects/noir/. One graphical sample of interest, is a BMPloader that loads 24bit bitmaps, written on only one page in using the Noir Framework. Noir is Not Useless (NINU)
