PTP IEEE 1588 stack for Linux
This project is an implementation of the Precision Time Protocol (PTP) according to IEEE standard 1588 for Linux.
Synchronize your playback over the Internet
Syncplay synchronises the position and play state of multiple media players so that the viewers can watch the same thing at the same time. This means that when one person pauses/unpauses playback or seeks (jumps position) within their media player then this will be replicated across all media players connected to the same server and in the same 'room' (viewing session). When a new person joins they will also be synchronised.
Database Replication, Filtered Synchronization, and Transformation
SymmetricDS is a data and file sync/replication solution. It is a platform-independent, web-enabled, and database-agnostic synchronization tool. SymmetricDS was built to replicate changes, bi-directionally, between remote nodes and a centralized node.
Accumulate file sizes in a directory without counting dir nodes
When you synchronize 2 file repositories with rsync, then you want to use fsize to show you if both sides show up with the same amount of files and with the same file sizes. Using du always counts files and directories (option -sb), which can result in different sizes. A directory node may use 12 KB on the rsync source and 16 KB on the rsync destination.
Grsync is used to synchronize folders, files and make backups. It is a rsync GUI (Graphical User Interface).
Flexync (Flexible synchronization) adjusts flexibly to your synchronization needs: it is always simple in use and lightweight, runs on many platforms, on single PC or in a network of stationary/mobile agents, and allows you to use advanced options!
The Take Action project consists of a Firefox extension and an iPhone application, meant to interact with the Social Actions API to bring people up to date information on way in which they can make a difference.

Minimalistic and superstable OSC timeline/sequencer
KuStudio is an open source OSC timeline sequencer, recorder and player, aimed to create timeline on an audiotrack. It can be used as core timeline module in interactive audiovisual and dance/vocal performances. For installation instructions see KuStudio-Guide.pdf, included in KuStudio archives. For quick support write to firstname.lastname@example.org KuStudio lets create, record and OSC tracks, synchronized with given audio track. Audiotrack can be WAV or AIFF file. KuStudio is inspired by famous Duration OSC editor, but has different philosophy: KuStudio stores all OSC tracks as discrete arrays, not curves, that allows to record and edit them freely. Also, KuStudio performs very stable for 10 min and longer projects. It is made with openFrameworks and is available for OSX and Windows. KuStudio on GitHub: https://github.com/kuflex/KuStudio
Crossplatform files synchronization and backup portable tool.
PYBAG implements a portable bag and is intended for fast synchronization and backup. It lets you use a portable digital storage device to carry your electronic documents similar to the way you can use a bag to carry paper documents. You can synchronize the bag with your original files easily. If a synchronization conflict occurs, it will be reported. You can specify rules for automatic conflict resolution. With PYBAG, you can backup files and synchronize any changes made to the original files with the bag. The synchronization process will only copy changed files. The program is cross-platform and independent from the OS and file system. You may easily synchronize files between Windows and Linux, for example. Symbolic links are supported on all systems (if the OS or file system does not support symlinks, then they are emulated). This program has a GUI and a command line interface.

Communicating Vision PLC with Java - Linux server
This is a Java application which enables the communication among Vision V350 PLC and Linux server without using OPC server. In fact there are two applications: 1- TCP_Server which timely receives data sent from PLC 2- TCP_Client which implements the Unitronics ASCII communication protocol allowing an user read and write any PLC registers of Vision V350 model.
Fud stands for "Fuck U D..." (guess what D means?). It was written and it is actively developed in order to offer a free and open-source alternative to existing proprietary software just like Dropbox, Box.Net, etc.
RDFbus is middleware for transmitting RDF publish/subscribe payloads over AMQP.
JMS/Joram implementation of the Bully election algorithm. It is a library to be used by a process' implementation to make it transparently manage coordinator's elections, while it carries out business logic. A sample application is included.

simple rdist rcs and tools , srtools , synchronizing
srtools is a set of simple remote tools. the main two to mention: simple rdist distributes files or commands across hosts. srdist(1) understands rcs(1) files and host based files. there are several other tools see README. rcs tools has a few things , like "late-checkins" to check for files that one forgot to check in an dorev to force check in / do easy check in (avoiding complicated options). host based files is a way to allow hosts to distribute all files without clobbering host specific files. and with that ... srtools(1) makes partially synchronizng hosts easy. Also can be a far easier way to do incremental or nightly backups. Also an easy way to have multiple hosts interact. README is visible on file download page EXAMPLE: $rcssrdist file (file was broadcased to default hosts list that are up. if a rcs pair existed it was taken care of. existence of directory on other hosts was checked (common mistakes checked)

Exchange Web Services Server
The Exchange Web Services Server ewss provides shared calendar and contact information for Outlook and Thunderbird clients based on the Exchange Web Services (EWS) protocol. It is thought as a complete replacement for commercial MS Exchange Server installations, typically used in environments of up to about 50 clients (limited only by the amount of RAM available on the server machine due to ewss using an in-memory database). E-Mail support over EWS will not be implemented, as IMAP is already sufficiently supported by Outlook in newer versions.
Xawar Gateway lets you sync your Litebase data. It works with different kind of data sources (different DBMS, CSV Files, and so on) and use different ways to transfer the Litebase Files(USB, FTP, etc)
